    I like it continue to post videos like this and find solutions. Most UA-camrs seem to only talk about the specs for live streaming indoors and dont do real-life tests outdoors. I was wondering for the application on the phone is it possible to use a mobile hotspot with wife capabilities i saw in a different video that you also need the Bluetooth and location enabled on your phone. I really like the idea of a super light streaming setup so you can move quickly and dont need a heavy backpack. The only thing I really considered adding is maybe a small fanny pack that can go across your chess for additional batteries for the small hotspot etc..

      Thanks for watching, yeah I’m doing extensive testing on the yolobox and it suits my needs.., of mixing two video sources… hopefully drone and pov camera…
      As far as I am aware the Bluetooth and WiFi connection works on DJI osmo pocket 3 with the Mimo app… WiFi using the video information and Bluetooth to switch the livestream off and start…
      I did turn off the Bluetooth in this case ( because I wondered if the audio of the mic 2 was effected the pocket 3 livestream audio to UA-cam, it did not)
      The WiFi connection works best as a supply to your social media platform…
      Although you can improve things by not using RTMP and the H.264 video
      The alternative SRT and the efficient HEVC ( H.265) which is Half the transfer data making it cheaper for data transmission…
      The trouble is this has to be setup DIY to your home or through an expensive service…
      either way the backpack early adopters seem to have discovered this and are using bulky equipment to do this…
      And only recently technology is catching up to reduce the weight and size and reliability of the network especially in cities…
      If you are going to do this you have figure out if your city / place can handle your data for livestreaming by testing it beforehand..,
      And buy enough batteries to last the duration… I’d say go for it because it’s fun…

      @@slifox2752 OK THANKS!!, yes I watch a streamer on Twitch who has all the equipment NMPLOL. He lives in Texas and sets up the server at home or when he travels abroad at a hotel. they all seem to use the LiveU solo Pro etc with a heavy backpack. It's too much for my liking.

    I can't get the YoloBox it to recognize the DJI Pocket. Is there a cord issue or driver issue I am missing? It is super in and out or nothing at all.

      Try changing the lead if it doesn’t work then try it on a pc with software… I use OBS livestream to see the video results…
      Normally it should work but issues such as low power, or quality of video effects the signal processing on the yolobox…
      Have you added additional 3rd party software… because that effects the video
      Try a different webcam to determine if it’s the pocket 3 or the yolobox…
      Lastly try resetting one or both devices to factory settings to see if it’s working properly… if not you probably have to contact the manufacturer

    plz keep tryinG to get better resolution like 720p AND MORE , if u can buy the yolo box ultra and try it with your Setup IT AS NEW ISO SRT SETTING and can be vertical plz make a vid about it i love the compact setup and why do you link the internet through phone when it as a 4g chip slot?

      It’s possible to get 1080 I did a osmo pocket 3 yolobox mini street walkabout in Hong Kong at 3Mb CBR using 3/4G…
      3Mb was the absolute minimum and could gone to 5Mb but it worked in a fully saturated network area via indoor wet market and in between ground level shops…
      I don’t recommend the WiFi connection to Mimo app on the DJI osmo to the phone as WiFi connection was interrupted by other people’s phones…
      Sorryi can’t I afford a yolobox ultra, I only got the mini for drone livestreams and street livestreams… and various other things that I think of at the time…

    Hello. I want to use DJI Osmo Pocket 3 as a webcam in Twitch live broadcasts. Will I have any problems with long-term use? What are your suggestions? Have you encountered problems such as overheating or shutting down?

    • @slifox2752
      @slifox2752  7 місяців тому

      For long livestreams You probably need a USB C splitter as it’ll need a power and sound for the camera as the mic two might not last more then a couple of hours…
      but the webcam is perfect… I use it on mic 2 for a hour livestream on twitch and UA-cam and Facebook and it’s fine… via yolobox mini…
      It does get warm and the battery is in danger if you over charge it all the time…
      Personally illl buy a tiny 2 4k tracking camera then the pocket 3 as it’s not meant for permanent webcam use…

    what cables and adapter are you using?

    • @slifox2752
      @slifox2752  7 місяців тому +2

      The link between the yolo box and pocket 3 is a usb A to usb C 30 cm cable… the adapters are nothing special it’s a right handed link to tidy up the cables… you can use ordinary cables to join the webcam to the yolobox

      @@slifox2752 So the cables are important because if this works with the YoLo box mini is should work with the other Yolo box products and the ports are different on each YoloBox. So you connected this from USB=c on the camera to the USB=A on the box and connected it like a Webcam and not a video source correct?
      Any setting on the camera needing to be adjust to send out a webcam signal through the USB-C? Thank you for this video! Very helpful. My Pocket 3 arrives on Thursday this week and I have a version of the Yolobox too but not the mini so the cable details and how you connect stuff would be great to know when you do more videos like this. Which we hope you keep posting new videos and sample of what you create with this setup.
