I love watching lightning storms and the winds will cool off during storms hit during summer months.

In the summer months and get spectacular lightning ⚡️ storms in Uluru Ayers Rock and it is a typical summer weather of the dry desert climate and it is beautiful to watch when it rains and the gusty winds will blow during a storm ⛈️ and it fascinating and it can be dangerous. Lightning exceeds over hundred million volts of electricity and it is a nature’s high voltage and the extreme weather can hit with the extreme high temperatures hit in the Australian outback. Please be careful and be safe during a thunderstorm warning with flash floods and the cloud to ground lightning strikes. You need rain gear and umbrellas to protect from rain while watching the lightning flashes and hearing the thunder afterwards. It is a dry desert climate with less rain in the winter to spring months of Uluru Ayers Rock in the Northern Territory of Australia.🇦🇺

Even summer gets the extreme weather events with the desert heat thunderstorms and the weather events can be dangerous and be safe to watch lightning and the rain falling on the ground and also hear the sound of thunder afterwards from the lightning strikes. The storms can be very severe in the central Australian desert and safe to watch it in Uluru or Ayers Rock in the Australia’s Northern Territory and be safe to watch extreme weather conditions at the Ayers Rock Resort and please be careful during storms hit in the southern part of Northern Territory and lightning is one of most powerful forces of nature and it is nature’s high voltage and the strong gusty winds pick up during thunderstorms and the heavy downpours of rain falling in torrents causes flash floods in the desert. You be prepared for the extreme weather events of the intense thunderstorms during the summer months of heavy rain and lightning and thunder and the straight line winds can blow everything down if it is not secure loose objects and please secure loose objects during storms hit the area of high temperatures and rain cools everything off in the summer. These storms can 😂 very dangerous and not safe to hit the roads with vehicles of traveling in the Australian outback.

      Hi Shannon,
I absolutely adore this part of the world - such a special place. I'm glad it came through in the video.
Both times I've been recently, we hired a car from the airport which meant that we could drive to each location.
This pic was taken from the Sunset Viewing point of Uluru, located 10kms from inside the start of the Uluru Kata-Tjuta National park. It costs AUD$38 for a 3 day pass (this is the minimum pass you can purchase) so you can drive to the Sunset and sunrise viewing points, go to Uluru to do the walk as well as drive to Kata-Tjuta.
I was actually there earlier this week and filmed another video, this time staying at Desert Gardens hotel and more of Uluru so stay tuned for that video!
There are heaps of tours that you can do. You can contact Voyages directly as you can pre book tours if you don't have a car.
      Hope this information helps.
