Acoustic or not, 10 people or 10k, Dany always gives 110%. Born to be a front woman.
Don't know if you have seen it, but Dany did a interview with PRS guitars and she was asked what her dream guitar to own would be. She said a Orianthi Private Stock Limited Edition. A day or so ago she was onstage with Orianthi at the PRS 40th Anniversary show and Orianthi gave Dany that guitar as a gift. Yesterday, Dany was performing at a special event in Anaheim, celebrating PRS guitars' anniversary. Paul Reed Smith came out on stage to take away the white guitar that Dany had been using to play a cover of AC/CD's "Back in Black" with Orianthi who at the song's conclusion gifted Dany her signature guitar. Dany has stated publicly that she thought that PRS model is the most beautiful guitar and, though she'd never have one of her own, it was the guitar she wanted to play. Besides covering the lead vocals on "Back in Black" as well as doing guitar and taking a solo, Dany also did lead vocals on a cover of Black Sabbath's "Sweet Leaf". 😀

If you recall at the beginning of Escapism, they were saying how good the crowd sings in Spanish…it was right after this song.
The way Danys voice shines on these are chefs kiss, then add in Ale's and Gordon Ramsey would be degrading himself.

I wanted to watch them do an acoustic set for years. I flew halfway across the country, and took 3 days of my life to go watch them play 2 acoustic songs. QMQ was one of them, and they was 10 feet in front of me. It wasn't a full set, not even a partial set, just 2 songs. Was still a Bucket list item checked off, and I was stupid happy after it.
They did do a private show for a college in MN. No idea the bill but …. TOTALLY worth it 😂
Yes, my theory is nurture over nature. The tallest grew up carrying the heaviest instrument & the shortest grew up sitting on a drum throne. Not a coincidence right? And if you look at Ales left hand it is “gigantic” from working that big bass neck all these years.
It is noticebly longer than her right. She compared them on a mexican cooking show they were on.

I don't know about taller but her left hand is bigger than her right because of all the bass practice. You should check out their version of "Que Mas Quieres" from Taratata. Ale covers most of Pau's vocals. Also you haven't reacted to their acoustic versions of "Sinister Smiles" and "Red Hands Never Fade" from the Autentico Hotel (you did "The End" and "Hunter"). Safe travels.
Ale is taller because she's the boss. I don't think she fully realizes it yet but she will. She's the metrognome. The voice of reason. She says very little but when she does speak you'd better be listening.

I've had that same theory about Ale's height. Her body responds to her constant finger and arm spreading to meke it easier. She has shown that her left hand is noticeably longer than her right one.
Yes, definitely. Ale HAD to grow extra tall to fit the bass!
You might be onto something with your Ale growth theory. In a recent interview she showed us that her left hand (that runs the length of the fretboard) is quite a bit larger than her right.
Hope they give Pau some drums for your accoustic show. Dany is doing all the heavy lifting by playing the guitar and most of the vocals.
Ale did show that her fingers on her left hand are longer than her right from playing, so why couldn't her whole body grow to fit the bass, too. 😂
Still prefer the first acoustic version I heard of QMQ, done at a radio station 10 months ago. Ale stands out even more on that one because Pau has no drums, she just claps.

Hey Zach, u need to react to a family band, like the warning, Missioned Souls, four kids aged 10-15. A couple of the est musicians for their age right now. I think they could turn into a warning like band with time. They do rock covers. Gone away by the offspring, Whole lotta love Zeppelin. Diary of Jane Breaking Benjamin, Hysteria by Muse to name a few…….i promise you will be ultra impressed. Cheers mate
