    I love the Rosy Cheeks mask! I have quite red skin, and after usage the redness is GONE ^_^ Also, I love the smell of it

    i love mask of magnaminty! i don't have very problematic skin but i when i get spots they are always the painful ones under the skin. after using the mask they heal in a day or two instead of a week👌 but idk if they changed the formula because the first two pots were amazing and the one i have now is very different.. not clay-like but sticky and it doesn't dry down the same!

    • @JaclynForbes
      @JaclynForbes  7 років тому +5

      yeah they have two formulas!! one is self-preserving and the other is the original! that's probably what happened- i betcha you've got the self-preserving formula instead!! :)

    I have a sample of the rosy cheeks face mask and of the oatafix face mask. I also feel that the rosy cheeks mask is not very beneficial, however, I totally agree that the oatafix face mask is super moisturizing and makes the face feel soooo nice!

    ugh im so in love with lush, and your reviews are by far my favorite.... so I feel you with the tea tree spray, I'd recommend trying the eau roma water toner in the winter, super hydrating and gentle for the dry season. I'm also dying over the Buche de Noel face scrub, it's really exfoliating, yet again super hydrating!

    don't use salted coconut on the shower, it's made of salt. use it on dry hands you'll see it is very very vigorous. Same for the ocean salt (both versions), the self preserving version is more intense i find because de salt pieces are smaller and there's more of them ! try dry ;)

    • @nickihammond3939
      @nickihammond3939 7 років тому

      bunnyloyalist if you switch to a lunch deodorant just remember it will take your body a while to adjust to something with out all the chemicals you've become accustomed to.... That being said, I find the soil deodorants are very masculine smelling... lol i use my twinkle toes foot dusting powder as deodorant some days and it works!

    What's a great dry shampoo from here and have you tried the imperials face moisturizer is it better than celestial

    • @SonicPhantom89
      @SonicPhantom89 7 років тому +2

      Ilse Gutierrez No Drought is the only dry shampoo in the range at the minute. It's made with cornflour to absorb oil and grease and grapefruit oil to cut through dirt and product build up. Imperialis is a lighter moisturiser than Celestial and doesn't leave any residue so it's less protective and absorbs more quickly. It's good for balancing skin so it's a nice choice if you're not really sure what your skin needs.

      @@SonicPhantom89 You sound far more educated about Lush products than the Lush employees at Westfield in London!
      1) When you say residue, what does it mean? Will I look whitish/orangish after use?
      2) For thinning hair what lush products do you recommend, please?
      3) Also how do i use those hair products?
      Many many thanks in advance xx

    • @SonicPhantom89
      @SonicPhantom89 6 років тому

      Uni Versity I’m a former member of staff at Lush and was the head of In Store Training for the shop I worked at.
      1) Celestial leaves a dewy/balmy feeling on the skin which some people love but others hate and refer to as a ‘residue’. It definitely won’t make you appear white/orange though.
      2) For thinning hair you would want hair products that contain stimulating ingredients because they will encourage hair growth and reduced hair loss. New shampoo bar, Rehab liquid shampoo and Roots hair treatment would all be good choices and their use is explained on their product pages on the LUSH website :)

      Mimina Karabasi I've used no drought and it's good, just have to be sure to really work it in. Being a powder not a spray it can also get a tad messy. My favorite sprays are the batista XXL volume and any in the dove line are pretty good.... hope this helps!

      I hate that I can't use the dry shampoo because I'm sensitive to corn products...anything with corn starch makes me smell mildewy and turns my skin red with itchy spots :( I really wish Lush would invest in other starches rather than pinching pennies with corn starch.

    I don't like Lord of Misrule. I don't understand. It has the notes that I love but No. I bought the biggest bottle too. I like that face mask. I'm an older lady so I like it for my dry skin.

    Hmm.. Yes, mask of magnaminty does help with oily skin... but your skin returns to being oily very fast. Is that supposed to happen?

      Sara .Rømer moisturize after

    • @susiiib2286
      @susiiib2286 7 років тому +1

      Sara .Rømer it doesn't change your skin type; your skin will still get oily after some time if your skin type is oily.

    • @alexhuntley1343
      @alexhuntley1343 7 років тому +2

      If your skin type is oily you will always have some excess oil, mask of mag just helps to mattify it and calm it down

    • @JaclynForbes
      @JaclynForbes  7 років тому +2

      dark angels is my all time favourite daily face cleanser :) it's great if you love scrubby cleansers or if you're more oily!!

    • @littlemissmello
      @littlemissmello 7 років тому +1

      ask for a tester while you're at lush because like most products it really depends on the person. The charcoal absorbs excessive oiliness really well however if you don't feel you are all that oily it might be overkill. Consider herbalism or angels on bare skin if you're looking for that same scrub but aren't as oily.

    You should probably make a Lush review when you know the purpose of the product. You're deterring someone who may actually benefit from it. Jersey Bounce is not "watery" by any means. It has free range eggs which are meant to moisturize and enrich the cuticle of the hair.

    • @mrselfdestruct7605

      It's a personal opinion review,not a overall for everyone review. People have the capacity to look items up themselves to see how it works because products work different for EVERYONE,they are not one sized fits all. There's nothing wrong with Jaclyn saying that she finds that product watery,it's HER opinion on the product and how it worked for HER. Not how the product will be for everyone
