Hyderabadi Chicken Tahari || Chicken Pulao || An Authentic Recipe Explained In A Step by Step Method

- Hyderabadi Chicken Tahari is an Authentic recipe of Hyderabad made using Marinated chicken pieces, various spices and Basmati rice.This is also called Chicken Pulao. Learn with me the step by step method of making this amazing recipe.
1.FOR MARINATION OF CHICKEN
------------------------------------------------------
Chicken - 750 gram (medium sized pieces)
INGREDIENTS FOR MARINATION
-----------------------------------------------------
Ginger garlic paste - 2 teaspoon
Red chilli powder - 2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
Yogurt - 200 gram
Mix well and marinate for 30 minutes.
2.Wash and soak rice in water for 30 minutes.
3.In a pan heat oil - 5 tablespoon...to it add
Cardamom - 3
Cinammon sticks - 2
Cloves - 4
Bay leaves - 2
4.Add onion sliced - 1 medium sized , fry till golden brown.
5.Add ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoon and fry till raw smell disappears.
6.Add tomatoes - 3 medium sized cut into small pieces.
7.Now add the marinated chicken pieces mix well and cook well.
8.Add coriander and mint leaves and cook till chicken is tender.
9.Now add water 9 glasses as we took rice 4 glasses.
10.Add caraway seeds - 1/2 teaspoon, Green chillies - 5, few mint and coriander leaves.
11.Add salt - 2 teaspoon
12.Let the water boil then add soaked rice and cook well till water is dry.
13.When water dries simmer the flame, close the lid and cook for 15 minutes under low flame.
14.That's it....Hyderabadi chicken tahari is ready.
15.Serve hot with raita.

Namaste, I stay in Japan and came across this recipe from a friend. As there are not too many ingredients involved (I got them easily here in Asian Stores) and the cooking process is so nicely explained, I decided to make this for our potluck party. This was also my first time cooking something like this. Everyone including foreigners (Filipino, Japanese, American, British) loved it! And they want to visit India now just to eat 😄. Cook With Fem chicken.tahari banaya maine it was tasty but rice thoda naram hogaya tha pata nahi kyu..pani bhi sahi se dala tha 4 glass water for 2 glass rice..can you suggest me.how can I do it better for next time.
Actually ye chawal pe bohot depend karta hai...agar chawal purana raha toh paani zyada lagta hai n agar chawal new raha toh paani kamm lagega agar thoda sa bhi paani badha toh rice smooth hojata hai...aap chawal jahan sey letey hain unhey puchiye kaunsa chawal hai...hamesha puraney chawal may hi tahari ya biryani ya khichdi acchi banti hai warna rice smooth hojata hai bht...agar aap phir sey yahi chawal use kar rahey hain toh paani ki quantity aur bhi kamm karlein just 3 and half glass hi dalein..shayd apka chawal thoda new hai isliye aise hua.
Di maine kal raat ku banaya tha....alhmd both achi bani thi....or mere fiance ku khilaya....unku both pasand aai or wo both khussh hogye....thanxxx ap ki waja se hamare pyar or bard gya....dua kijiye kuch months me mere marriade hai....😊😊
