I have naturally thick hair and lots and lots of it lol. I used to hate it, believe it or not. To add volume, you can always blow dry with your head tilted down. Then crimp the layers underneath to make your hair appear fuller ^^

@alletsanirbef Unfortunately hairspray is important if your hair doesn't hold curls. You can try catching the curls right when you release the clamp, clip the coils of hair to your head, and release after all your hair has cooled off...hope this will do the trick for you =)

You can use your 1 inch to achieve similar effect with a different technique. See my "Perfect Glamorous Bouncy Waves" video. Just wrap your hair around the clamp if you don't have a clipless iron. You mean when my hair is still on the curling iron, right? oh I do that just to see if my hair is hot enough to be released yet. If it's only slightly warm, I leave it on for a bit longer. ;)

another good way to curl hair is to use a flat iron. i do that all the time... it holds better and its faster!

@heythur04 u could also not use conditioner believe it or not this helps a lot more so if your hair is hard to curl or keep a curl

@akjadestar I wouldn't recommend applying heat to your hair daily (even with heat protectant). I only use styling tools twice a week at the most.
