    Romania existed before Chad so it would've been nice if they at least checked the other flags before creating theirs.

      Well at that time the romanian flag had an emblem on it, so it wasn't much of an issue...

      Wallachian Knight and your point is?
      To be specific, i meant this: "When Chad adopted its flag, [on November 6, 1959,] Romania's flag was different: it used to feature an insignia in the middle of the flag on top of the tricolour"

    • @irrelevant_noob
      @irrelevant_noob 6 років тому +2

      Wallachian Knight "cine pleaca la plimbare, pierde locul de onoare"... What should Chad have done in 1989 when Romania decided it wanted its old toys back despite them being now less unique than they were a century before? Just say "okay, guess now we'll have to change our flag, despite this not being our fault"? -.- Finders keepers.

    • @irrelevant_noob

      You should stick to the romanian language, at least that way people could understand what you're trying to say... :-|
      As for Poland vs Indonesia... not quite, noone is saying New Granada or Ornans have the same flag as Romania and/or Chad. Maybe you mean Indonesia and Monaco? And it's not my logic, it's Thunder Productions (and apparently you) that want(s) to retroactively nullify a perfectly reasonable choice made by Chad.
      ( My logic would simply have both states use their damn coat of arms in the middle of the flag! :-) )

      Romania’s own - arguably more legitimate - interest in Moldova has meanwhile been ill-served by a string of Bucharest governments, of all stripes, which for the past 30 years have viewed the country as a junior partner that should be grateful for any scraps it receives.
      It has done little beyond offering vague and non-committal promises to assist Moldova in its European ambitions, always with the unspoken assumption that Moldova’s path towards Europe must pass through Bucharest.
      Time and again it has backed the wrong horse in Moldovan elections, supporting anyone with claims of being “anti-Russian” even if that meant backing some of Europe’s most corrupt politicians.

    Nice video, I have just 2 things to touch upon: the flag similarity between Romania and Chad, and the relationship with Moldova.
    1. Romania adopted the flag as far back as the monarchy times, 19 century. Chad only has it since 1959. Just to give a clue about who had it first and who needs to change it.
    2. Your description of the Romanian-Moldovan relationship was very far off.
    First of all you need to know that there are more moldovans in Romania than they are in the Republic of Moldova. The Republic of Moldova isn't even the whole Moldova, it's only half. And it's not even the bigger half, that one is in Romania with all the historical capitals of Moldova.
    When the russians took land from Romania they took only half of Moldova, putting a border in the middle of a region, with the same people on both sides of the border. And they had the nerve to say that those on their sides were different...
    What is the difference between a romanian moldovan and a moldovan moldovan? They have the same history, speak the same language and even with the same accent (the romanian side accent is a bit washed out in the cities tho, but still heard very often in rural areas). So why are they different? Because the russians said so?
    Also you said the young generation is promoting the separate identity of Moldova when that couldn't be further from the truth. The young generation actually is the one supporting the union the most. They come to romanian universities and most of them settle in Romania after they are done with their studies, so for them to have a united Romania and Moldova is the best scenario. It's the old communist generation and the russians that want to keep us separately.

    Romanians do not live just in Romania. Romanians live also in North Bukovina, Transcarpatia, some cities in Eastern Hungary, all the Bessarabia (From Prut to Dniester), Southern Banat (today in Voivodina, and in few parts of Transnistria.
    And the thing that we want these territories into Romania is because Romania is a National State, the state of Romanians, not an empire or an artificial state like these in Africa. It was formed in 1859 by 2 Romanian Principates uniting by the idea of a Great Romanian State, but Romanians were living on the territory between Tisa, Danube and Dniester since 1700 years ago when they formed, and their anchestors lived on the same area 2400 years ago.

      I am sure that no bulgarian was deported from Dobruja. We have till today very important communities of bulgarians and tatars (around 200 000 people) in all of Dobruja. And we have nothing with them, and they don't want to be independent. It cannot be all of Dobruja part of Bulgaria, because there are around 1 milion romanians. It cannot be all of Dobruja part of Romania, because there live also over 700 000 bulgarians. And because of that i think that borders are correct, and it isn't like the bulgarian communities are not allowed to migrate to Bulgaria.

      And about the hungarians of Transylvania, they aren't hungarians. The ones in Hargita and Kovasna are Sźekelys, people which were bring by hungarians to the border of their old kingdom, to stop other migrators. The ones in Satu Mare (Szatmar) or Oradea (Nagyvarád) zone are pure Hungarians, but Satu Mare and Oradea are cities with a MAJOTITY of Romanians, and it will be stupid if we would give autonomy to romanians, because Romania is teoretically a national state of Romanians. And back to the Szekelys, they have enough autonomy (if you ho in Hargita you will feel like you entered in other country, because all the people speak magyar, all the toponimes are billingve, they organise a lot of national Szekelys festivals and they have their publications, newspaper and tv channels in their language. And their langiage is officialy recognised at Bucharest. You don't believe that we gave them enough autonomy ?

      Sadly no, because during Communist Era a lot of germans mwere selled by Romanian Government to RFG or Austria (and also remaining jews after WW2 were selled to Israel) and today in Transylvania are just around 60 000 germans, very wide-spread all over Transylvania. So it will be impossible to create such a lot of exclaves, and exclaves are not a good thing, especially because Romania is not in Schengen Area and kt hasn't any special commercial relationship with Germany, so it would be a lot of custom points. Moldova flag was always the boar and the colours blue,yelloy,red . In Valahia and Transilvania something different as a symbol but the colours the same , exept when Transylvania was part of Hungary

    1. This is video is amazing. Someone give this person a medal.

    3. Moldova was part of Romania, but you forgot about North Bucovina :)
    4. Transylvania is really mix, we have hungarians, germans (even some slavs), we just vibin'
    5. I hate the gouverment.
    6. Russia isn't that bad, if they didn't exist, Transylvania would've been part of Hungary.
    7. Transylvania being part of Romania is part of the reason some hungarians don't like Romania :(
    8. This video is just, so accurate! Thank you for recording, editing and uploading it, it really is on point about the weird borders, flag issues and some general knowledge :D
    Also, this is how I see Romania's relationship with it's neighbours :)
    Hungary - We love and hate them
    Serbia - We're friends, and our friendship is (PART) of the reason we do not regonise Kosovo (Sadly :(
    Ukraine - Pretty much friends :D
    Bulgaria - Friends (I know a few bulgarians, they're so kind :)
    Moldova - They're Romania's smaller 'country' like sibling
    The Black Sea - Helps our economy a lot, easy way to transport resources, but it isn't a country :)

So even if Chad was butthurt because of the resemblances, it's them who made a poorly choice of their flag and probably no research, since Romania already had it back then. Cheers and stop being so judgemental without doing your homework.

    Wow man :) I watch your videos on the main channel and somehow I subscibed for this channel too with some weeks ago but I honestly forgot about it's existance. I found this video and I got curious to see what is about since i'm Romanian myself. The video was interesting and the concept is very good. Also yeah...Sadly Romania is not like how it was in the old days. Then, the country was productive and all people had jobs. Because of coruption, the country is doing bad and it's really sad to see this tbh. That's why most Romanians are going in other countries like UK, Spain, Italy, etc. In Romania they could work even more but on less money while working in a country give more profit. Why? Because there are not that many taxes and useless shit. Anyway, I enjoyed your video as I said. Also, for everyone > please make the difference between pure Romanians and Gypsies. We are ashamed with them. Some of them are in UK for example and they steal, beat and make fun of people. We simply hate them for this because they make people belive Romanians and Gypsies are the same race/people. We were a good host for them because their origin is from Asia/India but they are simply scums and wont try to redeem themselfs or be better human beings.
    Thanks anyway for this informative video ^^

      CRASH THEPARTY
      I believe that you never tasted Communism. Communism means a centralised system, with no free marketplace, also restricted internet (if it was today), everything in communism is propaganda, people usually work more and more and gain fewer and fewer because of the corruption and to every president of a communist state are given dictatorial rights. Tell me what the hell is good in that ?

    • @TheCriminalViolin
      @TheCriminalViolin 6 років тому

      What countries called themselves communist, including now, are not even remotely close to what real communism is. There has never been communism or socialism in the world. Never. "What is "real" communism & socialism to you then" you may quip - and my answer is simply, read the manifestos. Karl Marx & Friedrich Engels wrote them to explain what they were, as they had created the terms themselves. They created them not necessarily to be used as a political base/agenda/etc, but more as to show people the steps every country takes to their downfalls. Communism>Socialism>Capitalism>Oligarchy>Dictatorship>Totalitarianism>Downfall. That's the steps they pointed out. Still to this day, they were right.
      And that exact step by step, or, cycle if you desire calling it, written out proves the point - What people demand, say & believe is Communism & Socialism is actually the complete polar opposite.
      The Capitalist countries created propaganda & presentations of pure lies to make Communism & Socialism become feared and believed to be Dictatorships & Totalitarianism. Why? Because Socialism & Communism are the opposite of Capitalism. Communism & Socialism equally distributes all income, commodity, rights, representation, etc amongst every single citizen within a country having it in it's true, pure form installed. Capitalism is the opposite.
      Capitalism is a system based solely upon greed, prejudice, dictation & discrimination. That being able to afford to live at all is not a right, but instead is a privilege that should be "earned" via working your asses off and stressing out for wages just barely enough, if at all, to get by. It's based entirely upon a system made to make the citizens be in a constant state of worry, insecurity, stress & strain. And, thus is a system based on control and a lesser form of dictation over a country's citizens.
      Capitalism is far more close to Dictatorships & Totalitarianism than real Socialism & Communism could ever be. FAR closer, and, yes, it is directly & fairly closely related to Dictatorships & Totalitarianism.
      Point being, before you go out of your way eating up the "information" and "facts" the majority believes, most "western" countries preach, and these Capitalistic Dictatorships & Totalitarian societies dub themselves - Look up & read the original manifestos first. Really pay attention to them as you read. The people who coined the terms & made the manifestos are the only ones that actually speak the real facts & information about Socialism & Communism you & anyone else should now.
      It's stupid-easy to find the manifestos simply by looking them up on Google. I found them that way, and read them multiple times. There is entire PDF versions of them and web pages where it literally is just the manifestos, nothing else, and yes, entirely free, no ads. So, there really is no excuse not to read up & get yourself reinforced with the correct information & facts, directly from the horses mouths. And no reason or excuse for why the mass majority of people around the world haven't & don't do it either.

    • @RaduRadonys
      @RaduRadonys 3 роки тому

      @@TheCriminalViolin "Real" communism as it that communism from the manifestos written by Karl Marx & Friedrich Engels is good, sure. But it is utopia. People cannot live in such a system, because of the way people are built. People will never be equal. People don't want to be equal. People don't want communism. People cannot exist with communism. And it's a proven fact, because when they tried to implement communism in real life, they failed miserably. They tried to implement it as in the manifestos, but because they were human, they customised it as such. Implementing it as in the manifestos cannot be done with people, but only with robots. So maybe when robots will rise, there will be real communism then.
