I have to say that I started following you when you were playing all the Walking Dead series but greatly prefer your recent more talkative videos. I've been trying to enjoy games for the past three years. Since I turned 28. I'm not sure if games just aren't fun any more or I'd just rather be doing other things in my life. Could be growing up, could be clinical depression. I noticed fewer and fewer things I used to enjoy was interesting let alone fun. The problem was that no new hobbies etc took their place. After a few years nothing was fun, I never laughed anymore and everything was a hassle craving energy I never got back after using it. Sure enough I was diagnosed with "double depression" and I wish I had known sooner as that whole mess awoke latent schizophrenic which you can't cure. What I'm trying to say is - if you even suspect you might have a problem, go check it out with a professional. It might not go away, and it likely will get much worse until it might ge too late.

Now I just wanna go out with friends and meet new people, go to concerts and festivals as often as possible. There are lots of activities outside and I feel like I am done with games, I feel like there's much more to life rather than just sitting alone and playing videogames.

I’m a few years younger than you and I’ve just gone through the same thing; I’ve been addicted to games for the first 20 years of my life; was addicted to World of Warcraft; I would spend all day everyday playing games; I felt like games were always going to be the most important thing to me. But then things started to change for me in my 20’s and now I want to pursue other things in life; learn to cook, learn languages, learn to sew, learn many other things. Now I just play games casually but I really enjoy the ones I choose to play. Games are great and fun but there’s lots more in life to discover too.

I think people just feel nostalgia for your old videos. I personally enjoyed the lets plays of games that were horror because i knew they'd make me laugh. I stopped watching him when he stopped playing games. Like it or not, it was gaming that built this channel. It was gaming that made Pewds who he is now. Without his gaming past no one would know who he is, and he'd probably have less than a million subs. I'm glad his channel is still growing without it, but I'm just no longer interested.

Also playing games you don't care about for views or subs. At the end of the day though I'd be much more happy and proud of a video I enjoyed making rather than one that gets the most views. Some of my least viewed videos on my channel were some of my favorites. Some of my top viewed videos on my page were stupid and I hated them.

I dont think its rehearsed mainly because it feels impossible. daily videos and basically a back to back essay worth of words, im pretty sure thats too much effort and memorizing everyday to get any rest. also i think it feels rehearesed for you is because he focuses on his topics more nowadays rather than continously saying random sht.

Honestly, I'm torn. On the one hand I agree with you, and I do agree with his views on faking reactions. If a game's not scary, he shouldn't have to fake fear.
On the other hand UA-cam is his JOB, not a hobby. And if people want UA-cam to be taken seriously as a job, they have to start treating it like one instead of trying to have their cake and eat it too.

I don’t think UA-cam ruined games for you, I feel that you’ve just grown up, matured and you’re looking to discover and grow some more. I’m a few years younger than you and I’ve just gone through the same thing; I’ve been addicted to games for the first 20 years of my life; was addicted to World of Warcraft; I would spend all day everyday playing games; I felt like games were always going to be the most important thing to me. But then things started to change for me in my 20’s and now I want to pursue other things in life; learn to cook, learn languages, learn to sew, learn many other things. Now I just play games casually but I really enjoy the ones I choose to play. Games are great and fun but there’s lots more in life to discover too.

I think people just feel nostalgia for your old videos. I personally enjoyed the lets plays of games that were horror because i knew they'd make me laugh. (See Outlast or Amnesia) but i dont watch anything else like the walking dead (Because i know you talk over the cut scenes and that just bugs me not because i dont like the videos.)
It's your channel and you can do with it whatever you see fit but i remember a happy Felix who used to scream about barrels and seem to really enjoy what he did.

TheOnlyGHero09 I agree completely. As some one who has created content I feel as though especially when you're starting out its easy to fall into the trap of being fake for views. Also playing games you don't care about for views or subs. At the end of the day though I'd be much more happy and proud of a video I enjoyed making rather than one that gets the most views. Some of my least viewed videos on my channel were some of my favorites. Some of my top viewed videos on my page were stupid and I hated them.

I am in no way connected to video games, I haven't played one in years and I honestly judge people who spend their days playing them and YET I found you here and I keep watching your recent videos, really enjoying your authenticity and transparency.
In my honest opinion, I would want to see you being completely honest about everything, that's if you are still holding yourself back, which I imagine you are. If so, I understand and I admire you a lot for what you are doing.
