Nice lost bits. Never knew that the devs would leave so much out of bounds unless it was intentional. I would also love to see a Stanley Parable lost bits, considering the new Ultra-Deluxe update came out about a month ago.
I have a theory or idea perhaps this prototype was used for recording trailer footage kinda like how having a seprate file for cutscene assets then gameplay assets
@@Owen01 Oh no, I know security breach had a lot of cut content, but I don't think it had the actual older builds for the story. Like I don't think you can play the older security breach builds like you can in playtime. Maybe I'm wrong?
I don't make games, but I've heard stories about developers trying to delete something that seems arbitrary, but doing so broke the whole game. Iirc Final Fantasy VII had this problem.
Fun fact: that mommy model grabbing Huggy is a prototype unfinished model, it’s not too different from the current one, but her eyes, top of her shirt is different and has no lip stick
4:02, actually that extra door is also there in the final build which makes me think that it was supposed to be swapped out for the other door when you get the key which is how they make it interactable. 4:55, usually it's easier to simply move assets off to the side if they are going to be reused often, and it makes calling the models into the scene easier as well. For scenes where Mommy's body is simply off to the side when only her hand is scene, it's easier to use the already existing model then to make a completely new model just for one thing. Fun fact: Barry is saveable, simply don't pull him to far.
There are also other stuff in animatics for example originally the way that the player would kill Mommy Longlegs was that they would have to lure Mommy into a furnace with a music box and when her head was in there they would then have to close the furnace doors and turn it on killing mommy next the way she DOES die in the game wasn’t the only version of that one in another animatic we see her head getting pulled into the grinder crushing her head into pretty much nothing and finally the ending of the chapter where the train derails and crashes and the player character seemingly goes unconscious there was gonna be more originally Kissy Missy was gonna walk in see the player and offer them what looks like a mint which the player would take. That automated message reciting numbers/letters doesn't sound normal for messages like that. Might be a cipher or code of some sort. Might just be normal for an area code that I've never needed to call. Idk.
It actually changes almost every time you call. Usually a different 2 letter state code as well as some numbers. Unfortunately, I did some research, and this is just a normal thing that happens with numbers not in service!
@@TetraBitGaming funny thing here, the original scrapped ending is that kiss missy would walk up and give you the playcare key, so you could be right on the money with that
Patty seems to be “Patty Hall”, someone mentioned in a different note in that same room, fired for tampering with factory equipment. The one writing these notes seems to be Rich (the guy who’s tape we find in that room), not only due to the fact that it’s his work station, but also because one of the notes references Avery, who Rich talked to in his tape from Chapter 1. The heart seems to imply Rich and Patty are in a relationship - likely a new one (at the time of him writing the note), since he has her number written down. Unsure as to why the note is on some random box and not where the rest of the notes are, though. Maybe he misplaced it?

There is a way to enable fullbright in the final game. If you have UUU (Universal Unreal Engine Unlocker) you can type in the console “viewmode shadercomplexity”, and “viewmode lit” for normal view.
fun fact: the original Ludwig’s office scene had someone (most likely something) wiggling the doorknob, and you we’re probably timed before it got in. you would escape by finding a secret door, which then leaded to a staircase. Down the staircase would look like the first poppy room, and this was most likely how you met her the second time.

I'd like to think that the "Waiting for player" text is there for players who do boundary breaks and then thanks them for playing with the "THANKS FOR PLAYING" text.
