Hendrix was playing in Little Richards backup band in New York , when Chas Chandler, ex bass player of the Animals saw him. Chandler became his manager and took him to the England where he brought in Mitch Mitchell on drums and Noel Redding, a lead guitarist on bass. Hendrix was worried about his voice, so Chandler played Bob Dylan for him to show that you don’t have to have a great voice to make great music. Dylan also influenced his song writing as you can hear in this song.

it's sad that so many catch Jimi's vibe, but they miss his lyrics. Don't just stay on the surface and vibe, go deep into Jimi's soulful lyrics and discover what he was really saying. For example, does anyone up in here know what Jimi is telling us when he says, "After all the "JACKS" are in their boxes, and the "CLOUDS" have all gone to bed", "You can hear happiness STAGGERING on down the street, FOOTPRINTS dressed in RED"?

Hey Hey Abracadabra 303 ❗- Dig your stuff. (Watching your reaction here to Hendrix reminded me of something) I noticed you react to a lot of old school artists like Hendrix & others, so wanted to throw an artist from that era at you, to see if you'd consider doing reaction to him. It's an artist Hendrix himself respected.
Don't know if you've ever thought about reacting to him but a song that's flown under the radar over the years with a powerful message was from Elvis in 1969 song titled "In The Ghetto".
(Dropping link below so you have quick access to it if interested).
I know request may be out of left field but The song was about challenging close-minded Americas to open their eyes and Minds a little bit about Injustice and inequities going on.
He caught some pushback from some bigoted white folks back then for doing this song.
But I know that people like James Brown, Muhammad Ali and Hendrix ... And many other more evolved souls respected the hell out of Elvis for using his public platform to stand on that message.
Perhaps Please consider giving this a reaction sometime?
I know the song was recorded over 50 years ago but a lot of people on UA-cam are just now waking up to it and I can almost guarantee you a lot of extra followers / subscribers real quick if you end up doing reaction to it.
    Here's link -
