- Today, we bring out the medieval in us and take on master mode Terraria with only flails. That's right, you heard it here first. Nothing better than exponentially limited range against eldritch deities such as the Moon Lord, and various parts of Cthulhu. No. No I will not fight the Empress of Light in master mode with a flail. I would rather drink 12 bottles of liquid aluminum. I would explode, internally and externally. Pretty late to the video, but i really needed to get this out. I was rewatching your video for, like, the fifth time, and came to the sudden thought, “No way, did he skip the solar eruption? Maybe he just prefers the flairon, but the solar eruption is a great weapon to fight duke fishron with!” Except i couldn’t remember how to spell flairon, and spell-checked it on the wiki only to discover that the solar eruption isn’t a godam flail. Positively shaken to my core! I scrolled down to find that it was merely an unaffiliated melee weapon! “No way,” i thought, “i could have sworn that it was a flail!” My brain proceeded to short-circuit as i read the wiki article to find that it had never been a flail in the first place, causing me to throw my medium rare steak out the window like a godam psychopath. Even if you don’t read this absolute clusterfvck of a late comment that is trying very hard to emulate your video style without getting flagged by youtube, i hope you have a lovely day waffletime, and thanks for the awesome video.

I'm kind of a dumb guy so when I start a new world, I always forget that I have a mod for custom worldgen and forget to change the Pyramid to "Small" after having set it once to "Large". I like ragequit because I died to Golem as a mage in calamity like once or twice after the long trek so I never actually completed Calamity as a Mage.

Pretty sure it spawns more during a blood moon but not 100% sure
only dr bones is the rare enemy. pinkies are everywhere and you can just walk a bit to get corruption

So recently i got back into terraria, it was something i spent countless thousands of hours playing with my little brother for years. last few years and ive moved away and got my own place but im hundred of miles from my friends and family, and stumbling upon your youtube was the best thing, i love the content it makes me smile and laugh and it helps me get through my day, definitely subscribing and please keep making more.

It’s nice that Waffle finally got a challenge that was [slightly] easier than the rest, since the flails are kind of evenly balanced across the game. Now imagine if he did this kind of challenge with pre 1.4 flails….

To be completely honest with you, the best parts of the video are where he portrays the Jungle Temple and the Pillars as Reels and mobile game advertisements. This man is a GENIUS, and I love these types of videos. Keep it up!

waffle should do a "miscallenous weapons only" challenge, where you can only use weapons that don't really fall into any category, e.g. terragrim, accessory and mount damage, harpoon gun (not a gun doesnt use ammo), ect

He has. For the worthy auto bumps up the difficulty, so classic is expert, expert is master, and master is legendary. It also does that on the zenith seed

Fun fact: shimmer allows you to reforge any accessory or weapon that was crafted in any way for free (at the cost of some extra time per reforge) by chucking it into the shimmer and then crafting it again until you get the reforge you want

When reforging at the goblin tinkerer, you can pick a mixed build of both lucky and menacing since, in terms of DPS, that offers way more than just one or the other.
I would say way more DPS is definitely a stretch. The DPS boost is negligible in vanilla and not super high in most mods (makes sense considering you’re only gettin base 4% from each modifier.) It’s probably better to just run full menacing because lucky is affected more by defense.
@@Mingha0 Not really. I've actually done testing with full menacing, full lucky, and an even mix of the two; I can assure you, it's way better than both.
@@purplehaze2358 If it's on target dummies it's definitely not reliable because they don't have defense. You can also use minions if you aren't doing a challenge like this which is another point for full menacing. If these have been considered already then I guess you're right.

OP: No judgement in the slightest, just pointing out a fact. Right at 22:51/2 you can see them revealing more of the mini map, and there is already platforms in place above the row he is on. Meaning they used TEdit(or another world editing tool if there is one) to make the arena. Again not judging, I have done the same many times before. Just interesting is all.
Its the Fargo’s Mutant Mod which has a crafting recepie to instantly place hundreds of platforms in a row 👍

Sentry only playthrough. That should add a healthy amount of hair loss and stress. Plus, you are literally FORCED to use the Old One's Army things, meaning you have to do it in the first place, adding on extra layers of anxiety and pain.

There’s a “new” boss in the everything seed that he mentioned at the end of the video called “mechdusa,” which is all the mech bosses combined. If you beat this boss, you get a special weapon called “waffles iron” it’s a waffle iron that is a very obvious reference to waffletime
