The documentary was great. Super cool to know that players like Lenny Kravitz are watching "new guitar day" just like everyone else. I can only imagine Norman's health played a hand in producing a doc that spanned his life, but hopefully we have him and the whole vibe around for a while longer. Fingers crossed for you all in L.A. hope you're well and I'm thinking of you during the fires. We had our fire in Ventura County in November and it's never good.
awesome session! one of the best so far! Roberto's playing is great as usual, Lemmo and Kenny keep it smooth like butter and Norm puts the icing on the cake!
I have seen a lot of posts, prayers, and concern for the store and those who make it such a special place. Praying you all stay out of harms way. The documentary was worth the wait. I wish I could melt all the snow Colorado has been receiving and make it rain in California. Prayers, Love and Light to all of Southern California.
@@jltrem ok pattermousky pipe down... does it have reeds that vibrate and when you blow or suck air !!! it makes a sound... except in the church they call it a bellow... and in this case the bellow or wind bag is Norman.... they r collectables.... I thought I heard a PIANO there for an instant... wait a minute.. I suppose if u hold norm up for a HOOTER! that's it....
Great job gang. Sounding wonderful grooving on the Motown jam. Hey, very sorry for what I'm seeing about the LA fires. Thousands have lost everything. Several friends with only the clothes on their backs. All good from east KY USA Next time
Assume the store is on the right side of the hills to be reasonably safe but hope all the staff and their homes and family are staying safe. Also hope Joe and his LA home is safe as well. Be a Shane to lose so much history he’s collected. But let’s be honest lives are the most important thing so stay safe all.
I was relieved when Joe Bonamassa let us know on X that he was safe and back at Nerdville West, but without power. I looked everywhere I could thinkbof to make sure Norm, the crew, and all those vintage guitars were O.K. Still can't find any confirmation.
Nice bass...Nice color...Refin or not. That butteryellow color is usually the end result of the lacquer coating going amber from aging. All of those old Fender colors were effected. Sometimes old Sonic Blue looks greenish with the amber influence. Looking under the pickguard can reveal a lot about the original color. I don't think the romantic atmosphere of cigarette smoke & mojo have contributed that much to the overall paint color...It still looks great though!
Roberto is my fav bassist on the show. Sounded great as always,
Thank you for the thoughts we all are blessed to be o k but the devastation to others is enormous. Love to all those affected
Thanks for the update, Norm. Prayers to you and your family and extended Norman’s family. .
Was hoping you folks were out of danger.
Thanks for the update. Good luck.

LOVE THIS..
Can’t believe it’s thumpin’ Thurs. already! 🎶🎸😮
That little mouth organ norm plays was a sound that is responsible for many many hit songs and themes... but does anyone use them today?
It's called a Melodica.

Thank you, I was going to ask what it was called. That really was a great performance.
Awesome!!!
That`s as good as it gets. I needed to lay back for a moment.
No other sound like the early 60’s Fender bass.

Be safe from all the fires 🔥 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Looks like there's a bright spot in lt tortoise 🐢 shell or the pickguard that looks like a turtle 2:57
Kind of Lego a turtle if you look at it long enough 👍❤️😀🤔

Wonderful! Norm - please play a cover of China Crisis's Christian next - your melodica needs it :))
Does anyone know the status of Nerdsville??? Super concerned.
Has Norman's Rare Guitars been affected by the wild fires???

Who needs an orchestra

I would love to see the NRG doc but I don't pay Netflix tribute for holding their monopoly over content.
