Strength to Strength welcomed Melody Schrock to discuss beauty, designed by God, created for our enjoyment.
Whether we acknowledge it or not, we have a worldview of beauty. Beauty was God’s idea and He has a standard. As women, we are image bearers and we display the beauty of God, but how? When people see us, are they drawn to us or to worship of our Creator? What does it look like to veil ourselves spirit, soul, and body? Is beauty truly in the eye of the beholder? We’ll explore some of these questions in our time together. God has a design and it is good!

Thank you for this! It is very encouraging! God brought me out of living lukewarm and I now identify more as an anabaptist, but my husband is baptist. Therefore, being around women who dress like the world (in different degrees), in my church and homeschool community can feel lonely but I know and understand God's word and the strong conviction that He gave me. And it brings me so much joy to walk in Truth!

Wow I have literally come across your channel today and am definitely subscribing. Thank you so much for this beautiful explanation. I am a 22 year old Christian woman and this video was so needed for me. I live in Belgium and there are not many Christian women here who dress modestly so It’s always good to know other women are wanting to be modest too. 35:30 was so beautifully said and is such a good principle to go by indeed compared to the ‘how far can I go’. And I also loved 36:50 with how you said that our clothes should accent our faces. Amen to that. May God help me to always dress in a way so that I am representing Him🙌🏾

Great topic, I profit from the teaching on the glory of women's hair and the coverings. Never heard that before.
Where is a good place to buy modest and not expensive clothing?
I find many of my clothes at the second hand store. I often wear layers to create a modest look. For example a crew neck top under another top with a lower neck line.
