I believe Crystalstone is a brand name and is not actual crystal in the aggregate. A little misleading but from what I understand, it's plaster mixed with tiny aggregate that does have some shine to it so it'll reflect water in a pretty way and make the pool bounce more light off the surface. Are you still happy with your oyster quartz pool plaster selection? We live in WI and going trying to select our pool plaster color in the next couple weeks.
@@JessicaYvette you can see the blue color after just a few inches of water in the pool and the color continues to look darker as more water gets into the pool. The shallow steps will always look lighter than the deep end of the pool.
You’re so thoughtful. I hate when I pull the bottom of my swimsuit. And it’s a good observation to have a smooth surface for little ones.
Aww thanks! Hoping what we chose will achieve all the things we want!
A white pool imo gives the most beautiful natural blue color when the pool is filled.
I agree
If it says "crystal" finish on the pool speciffication what kind of combination of plaster is that?

Id definitely make sure your pump is off until someone comes to look at it, or it could burn up the motor.

Please continue to film this process. I’m currently getting bids on a new pool install and this information is very helpful. Thank you.
@@Livinlifeforleo I'm so glad it's helpful! We've got more videos coming that I think will help too!
And the colors name??
The color we used is called Oyster white :)
