Bots are in the game because they make a profit off of selling the gp. You know who buys that gp? Yup, you guessed it, the playerbase.
You know what businesses do when they aren't turning a profit? They go out of business.
The osrs community buying gp is why bots are not going away.

I noticed some wierd behaviour when i did all my nex kills in mass world (w505). it could be about 30-40 people, then all of a sudden it was 60 people. then back to 30-40 after a couple kills, then back to 60.

Jagex does not care about botting. Yes they do ban actual players who uses botting clients whom are solo. But the large scale botters (example) rank 2-10 zalcano ect are getting a free pass because bonds is money for jagex and also a bigger playerbase. The whole anticheat system/team at jagex is a flop joke its just business at the end of the day for jagex. Legit people trade hundreds of thousands of dollars each day for services / goldselling or buying. Its insane

If jagex doesn’t ban bots they will go out of business lol, bots sell runescape gold for 100x cheaper than a bond is for gp so people go there and buy gold ofcourse. It’s essentially way cheaper membership as long as there are whales buying bonds.

I created new Ironman, spent 15 hours (i was VERY casual) levelling to 50 FM, did other countries ntent too, got 20 fishing. After i did 2 games of Wintertodtd, i never logged into this account for my months, couple days ago found out that it was banned for "very VERY hard botting". Obviously, appeal didn't work, they answered with "our anti-botting software is always right"
Because OSRS GP is a form off currency Same as crypto. I bet if bonds wasn’t in game and these botters had to pay £6 per account to member there account you wouldn’t get farms on the scale they are now but then people would see how bad osrs is really struggling the numbers would drop drastically

Its so simple. Go to any boss and afk for 1 hour and ban every bot you see. Jagex could ban thousands of bots.

Bots are the reason for bonds going so high. There's no other explanation.
Only two things affect prices in osrs: supply and demand. There's no evidence supply has decreased 5x for bonds, and the legit player base hasn't increased 5x either.
It's b3cause people buy from 3d party. So we are making bonds more expensive. Because of all the money we're just able to buy so easy.
@@Dailyrider94 I understand the logic here and agree, but the underlying reason why there is so much cheap gold to buy is bots. They are still inadvertently increasing demand for bonds this way.

Mobile isn't always as impressive as playing normal unless you know they are genuinely playing with their thumbs. I played 'mobile' for a good while on a tablet, with a mouse and keyboard connected so it was literally no different to playing on a laptop lol.
