I've never wanted to be a fictional character more than Ekko in that timeline. That man has more discipline and courage than I ever will to be able to go through with leaving Powder for the greater good of his own timeline.
Basically the song is about being close to someone who feels like both a best friend and a rival. the person that brings happiness but also creates conflict making the relationship challenging, and it reflects the complicated emotions of loving someone who can also frustrate or hurt you. "You're the best thing to ever happen to me But also the worst thing to ever happen to me"
Isnt that toxic. I loved someone a lot, but he was hurting me. i realised soon enough that his actions show narcissistic traits. His words didnt match his actions. He hurt me, he hurt me a lot and didnt seem to care. Im still healing, so i keep thinking about him. Even after leaving. Because his feelings mightve been fake, but mine werent. And this thing hurts. I gave all of me to someone undeserving of it.

J’avais hésité à regarder arcane car je suis pas fan du jeu et franchement je regrette pas une seconde de mettre lancé. C’est ma série préférée maintenant tout est parfait. Les effets spéciaux, l’histoire et les musiques choisi sont incroyables 🔥
L'épisode est de loin le meilleur de cette saison 2 car il se focalise sur une relation à l'échelle humaine qui a été travaillée en amont, parce qu'il y a eu du temps pour écrire la story entre ces deux personnages, qu'on y a accordé le temps nécessaire. C'est pour ça que ça résonne, c'est pour ça qu'on l'apprécie. Ça en est presque dommage que la fin ait été si vite rush, qu'il manque un quelque chose sur la conclusion contrairement à la saison 1 où ce temps avait été pris, qu'autant de promesses scénaristiques soient tombées à l'eau, que l'impact des sacrifices, des relations et de ce qui s'est passé sur la fin ne soit que très peu abordé. Simplement dommage de laisser un goût d'inachevé sur ce qui aurait pu véritablement frôler la perfection.
Cela montre sa volonté à vouloir sauver le monde auquel il appartient plutôt de rester dans un rêve ou tout est parfait. Au final il se retrouve seul... Sans rien

Few things I would like to point out from these 2 beautiful characters back in season 1 and 2. Back in our original timeline Before Vi got out of prison, Ekko and his crew were already fighting against Silco and was heavily implied from season 1 how He already had history and past clashes with Jinx Because the firelights knows who she is, I can say that he has tried many times to get jinx out of silco's hands, he tried to save her many times but ultimately gave up on it as He said it himself "Powder's gone, Vi. All that's left is Jinx." Which makes Episode 7 beautiful because Ekko Acknowledged his mistake, He gave up on it, He gave up on Her. I also believe that This Powder Knew this wasn't her ekko, in the montage of when they were making the z-drive, Powder came across notes of Seperating Our Ekko with this timelines Ekko. Take note also of their conversation on the rooftop, When ekko was talking about giving up on the undercity and Giving up on her, about ekko wanting to stay in one moment but powder saying leaving a few things behind for him to be able to take leap forward and more improtantly their kissing scene, Ekko and Powder were already a couple in this universe and I think powder just went through with it when Ekko said "Lets pretend like its the first time" Though the writers didn't really Make it clear if they are speaking Generally or saying those lines because they both know what is going on. However at the ending sequence, Powder really knows because she kept the necklace Ekko gave on her drawer as keep sake, she would be wearing it if she knew it was her ekko, her boyfriend that gave it to her.
