@@bobcummings8228 "Right On" Bob!!! From Herb Alpert, Kenny G., with his "breakout jam", "How Ya Doin", the world of jazz opened for me in 84, as I was entering college!!! Thanks to a Jazz Appreciation class at my community college, the professor was so passionate about us learning about Jazz, so the doors opened wide to my love!!!
Enter, Miles Davis, Coltrane, Munk, to mainstream, David Sanborn Bob James, Joe Sample, and it just goes on!!! The fulfillment, energy, and spirit you receive from listening to Jazz is truly like no other!!!
I am so glad, we are getting back to a normal, where I can get to a Jazz concert soon!!! Appreciate you Bob!!!

My Dad had this on compact disc and spent hours fiddling with his equalizer settings to get the best sound. Many summer vacation road trips would be accompanied to the sounds of Mr Alpert’s exquisite trumpet playing and Jam & Lewis sparkling production on this particular record.

According to an August 19, 1989 article in Billboard magazine ' HDTV Awarenes Grows As Vid Conference Nears' there was a HIGH DEFINITION version of this video to showcase HDTV in it's early days. Reminds me of the time in the early 90s when I attended a TV & Film Convention at the LA convention center and first saw HDTV, it was so crystal clear it was mesmerizing. I'm sure if we ever get an HD version of Herb's Keep Your Eye On Me, if in existence, well, that will be just as mesmerizing! The production company Rebo High Definition Studios also produced HD videos for Nona Gaye 'Why Should I Cry' which was very similar in video style and production I noticed back in the 80s. They mention a John Lennon HD video also. Let's hope we see these videos as original filmed one day, thank you Herb!

Most of Janets biggest hits and this track were produced by the same guys, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Did a ton of R&B.

Yes, has a ton of R&B, Soul even New Jack Swing with a hint of Synthpop. That is why i call great music made by real artists!!!.

I am 69 years this a very silly video but it's right, because it's tight and I really like it . I am dancing 💃to the music the same way when I used to hit them dance floors back in 1987. I still got some pep in my step anybody want to come kick up their heels with me ?😃🎵🎤🎺🎸🎷 February 21,2021
