- Hi ! This is REY for an other edit on Star Wars. And today I wanted to share with you an edit that some of us asked me in the comments.
I spend a lot of time on my latest video : Rey | Untoppable, so this time I wanted to do an easier and funnier video.
Rey and Poe don't have a lot of scenes in common in the two first film, and I really wanted to see both of them in the last movie, but they just bickered throughout the film.
Nevermind, I really appreciate those two characters and Damerey !

That might be one of my favourite gags in this franchise.
They were meant to be a romantic couple in original script for Episode 9 by Collin Trevorrow, but he was fired by Disney. These dialogs we see must be the remnants of this idea.
Damn! Why they fired Collin?! :(

@@stepheniebowen6527 I like to read it as a triad lol, there's so much chemistry between all three of them it's like the writers couldn't pick a direction for any one of them.
@@thalmorbiznitch4028 I think Rey and Poe were like a brotherly sisterly type of relationship between them. Finn and Rey were supposed to be together romantically instead but it had gotten cut out. Instead had a forced romance between Kylo Ren and Rey they're romance came out of nowhere and that kiss between them wasn't even romantic even JJADAMS said so infact Daisy Ridley said that her character hated Kylo Ren so why did they get them together romantically instead of getting Finn and Rey together romantically it was so hinted at between them. I just hoped that in Rey's new movie coming out that writers would get Finn and Rey together romantically again and build back up that romance between them that should of happen between them in the Rise of the Skywalker instead of a force romance between Kylo Ren and Rey.
I love how Poe is technically the third wheel most of the time when he’s with Rey and Finn and he’s just constantly pissed about it

In TROS we had a Poe jealous of Finn since he wanted to say something to Rey, we had a Rey jealous of the relationship between Poe and Zorii, GOD, the tension is there, when are they going to break it? I want to see that!

@@Anna-yh1fb Safe? Well, according to the TROS novel, Rey thought: "Zorii and Poe exited the workshop. Rey watched them go, wondering how far she could push Poe to talk about his history with the spice runner.

She wanted to know more, also let's not forget to mention the moment when Poe was saying goodbye to Zorii and Rey who was behind with Finn I said: Poe, come on!
The scene where Rey activates her lightsaber and Poe turns on his flash light after seeing her do it is so funny because then he looks at her lightsaber and is probably like “Ah shit I got one upped AGAIN!”
the fact that Finn was the only one who had the other members of the main trio until the end of Episode 8 when Rey and Poe met for the first time

@@Emma-mg8lzYou end up loving this duo, basically, it's something like Han and Leia but, without necessarily being a couple or something, yes, the tension is and you see, test? perhaps they did not find it very very tender when Poe gently caresses Rey's knuckles when he, Rey and Finn hug each other? that scene gives me a thousand years of life uwu

The amount of people in the sequel trilogy makes me feel like it should’ve been a Disney Plus show, a full scale epic showcasing years of the First Order and Resistance at War, just 3 movies with this group that barely even interact is just disappointing

They aren’t a duo by any means though... half these moments are just group moments and most don’t have anything to do with Poe and Rey, and the other half of the video is just clips from the same argument scene

El Reylo es mil veces mejor, pero como duo comico el Poe y Rey funciona muy bien.
Es como el Dramione en Harry Potter, Draco y Hermione son perfectos el uno para el otro porque son muy diferentes y pareciados a la vez, de la misma forma que el Reylo. Y el Romione es algo asi como el Poe y Rey, son amigos y al mismo tiempo son un duo comico. Pero como pareja seria de las toda la vida no funcionan ni queriendo...
