I love grapefruit. as you were doing this I thought you must have the patience of Job. I get tired after a few and take a sit down.(back trouble) and then go at it again, I haven't freeze fried any yet. I love to eat them with some sugar on top. I did some of those little cutie oranges last week, I poked a hole or 3 in each one. no way I was going to segment them like that. not enough there. they turned out pretty good. keep up the good work. love your ideas. I just put some left over banana pudding in my molds and in the freezer to freeze. my nephew loves those.
Grapefruit chocolate? What a way to ruin a good taste. The chocolate taste that is (I hate grapefruit). Watching you cut out each segment got me to thinking about the oranges I tried (and failed) to freeze dry as chunks. I suppose a person could cut orange segments this way too. I only failed half of my chunks and slices, I failed to weigh them out of the freeze dryer, put them back in for a couple hours and weigh again to see if moisture was still in them. Apparently there was in at least one slice or chunk as each bag was squishy after a few days. It might have been the bags I bought, but I’m giving that website the benefit at this time. The others are fine. Ordering from another website now though. I’ll be ordering off your Amzn link after the 15th, will let you know how many pennies to expect. Did you see the total eclipse where you are? I watched on UA-cam/NASA from Mazatlan MX to Indianapolis IN before I lost interest seeing the same thing over and over. In an overcast state where I would have only seen 80% eclipse.
I bet you could also grind them up & make grapefruit juice.
Keep on Doing what you do. You are amazing.

Supreming citrus ins’t easy. You did a great job Jon!
I've done grapefruit by peeling and then cutting in rings and they were delicious. I need to try again with this method, thanks for showing me how.
😊 just wanted to thank you for sharing all your knowledge. It's made it easier on my freeze dried projects. Keep freeze drying.
I bet those would be delicious in a Greyhound, as in grapefruit juice & vodka. Too bad I don't drink any more. lol
You can candy grapefruit peel
👍👍👍👍👍
That technique is called “supremeing”. Fancy restaurants serve breakfast grapefruit this way.
Thanks, you taught me something today!
I bet that would be great mixed into some spite and vodka. Love your videos!!! Keep up the great work.
Sounds great!

Ha Ha, for the chocolate and grapefruit. Not the drying problem
