On Singer 2018 my favourite performances are this, Child, Mountains & Sea/Wayfarer, Glimmer, and the stunning "I am what I am"... but none of them are in my Top 10 Hua Hua Performances. He used the weeks of Singer 2018 to tell his quirky backstory. He was lonely and bullied as a child. It's only in recent years he is comfortable, with himself and happy. You should check out Singer 2018, Singer 2020, The Next shows and.. Ace v Ace variety show (where he was on Host team competing against guests but also letting him sing). You won't believe his 2023 Concerts. 😳 And he is a chameleon with his looks.. long hair, short hair, black, white, pink, purple hair. And his outfits.. 😳😲

You will be surprised by Hua-Hua (as his fans call him) at every turn so I think you will regret not making reaction videos to his performances. If you scanned through comments from other reaction videos, a common thread is that he is like Freddie Mercury, David Bowie and other great performers rolled into one - except he can’t really dance. But still, it is quite something to watch him perform as there is a lot of thought and crafting that goes into each of his performances. I find all his re-arrangements so wonderful that I usually forget what the originals sound like. People have suggested his Singer 2018 cover of Jay Chou’s Nunchucks which is basically a rap song. I also highly recommend you to check it out - it is the song that drew me into the world of Martians (which are what his fans are called).

I listened to Zhou Shen's version, and I'm sorry... I couldn't finish it. He often used too many vocal elements without integrating them well. The use of some special effects machines to make certain parts of the voice rough sounded very unnatural, making it difficult for me to connect with the emotions of the song. When Hua Zheng participated in the Singer 2018 program recording, he received the news of the original lyricist (22 years old) of this song passing away. He immediately changed the original song he was going to perform and chose to sing this song as a tribute to the original lyricist. We all know the versatility of Hua's singing voice, but he doesn't showcase all his vocal techniques just to show off. He carefully selects the most appropriate voice to express the musical story, which is why I really like Hua.
