hanzand franz it wasn’t bad at all. Pay attention to detail, do what you’re told don’t be a smartass and be ready to give it your all. If drill sgts see that you’re putting an effort they don’t mess with you.
I really thought asking this question today from insta. But then thought its not worth bothering you for such a question. Thank you so much though. Leaving monday..
Came here after the live stream to watch this. Thank you ben Allen for pointing this video on your channel out to me during your live stream. Thank you for answering all my questions during the live stream.
Are you allowed to bring your laptop? or is that strictly for AIT only? Also, Ive seen other youtubers that use GoPros during AIT to film their experiences, you should make a video on how that works. Helpful Video!
The only way you could have your laptop is at the end of your time at basic. Ask your family to bring it when they come down for family day/ graduation.
m p you go to basic after completing your junior year and then you go to AIT after your senior year. I’m currently a junior doing that with the Guard. But in some cases you can also go to basic after senior year and then AIT after your freshman year of college, but it’s usually meant for Hs juniors 17+.
Split option also means you get to do drill once a month both before basic and between basic and AIT. It helps you to prepare for both. Would recommend for next year if you’re a sophomore rn
Hi. I have a lot of questions. I use an acne system that I apply in the morning and night, like 4 different bottles. Am I allowed to take that? And if that is allowed, what about when I run out? Can I get it shipped to me at basic from the company I buy it from? And what about my cleansing brush and charger? If I can't take those it's no big deal, I'll just go on without it.
The Chillmaster That’s what it was called in 1997, it’s an army issued debit card that has around two hundred dollars on it. The money is taken out of your paycheck for the first month. I say month because I opted for once a month payment versus the first and fifteenth.
Graduation 😂that’s what I look forward to for basics
Shipping out on Sunday. Nervous as hell not going to lie lmao

Ben Allen thanks brother

You can buy some

Most videos I watch say they won't allow you to use your own running shoes. I'm assuming is different and subjective per drill Sargeants?
does it have to be travel size hygiene products?
It’s preferred
Will the DS say anything about my buttplug collection during shakedown?
They shouldn’t lol
Probably not but to be safe, join the navy.

@@nickchilders4 Wasn't that bad, if you go you'll find it's not really that hard but more mentally and physically demoralizing.
After basic, don’t you get sent back home for a few days before you get sent to AIT?
G.I. Jaenne no
Hell no, the mission goes on!! Hooah!!

Does your watch have to be a certain color? I have a G-Shock that’s army green. Should I take it with me?
Black or army green
Mine has a compass, is that allowed?

If it’s prescribed you should be good!
What about my acne face wash? Can take that?
Not really
So like why is the payment info necessary at basic if our recruiters already set up our direct deposits before RSP
Some soldiers recruiters don’t set it up for them.
Ben Allen ah okay
What do I do with my vehicle if it's several states away? Will I have time to drive it down after basic? Or should I sell it before I ship out?
When you go on leave you could grab it, but if you want to sell it you can lol
Keep it with family or in storage till you come home or ship to your first duty station. If you don’t like the car then sell it.
I ship tomorrow yall
Good luck. I ship June 15th to Leonard Wood
So should I bring extra underwear and socks or will they give you some their.
They let you go get some!
can you bring bibles
Yes
I was in osut
What about envelopes and paper?
I would take some also
Can I bring my debit Card ? Also what about sleeping clothes?
They will give you like a cash card there but I’m sure you can still take your debit card
@@TheBenAllen. thanks. But what do you sleep in?

What about cellphones? When can we use it!?
whenever they allow you to.
I lost my state ID but still have my passport. would I still need my ID? I ship out in 6 weeks. Fort Jackson
I’m shipping to fort Jackson on the 31st how was it?
What kind of shoes do they give u at basic?
Whichever ones you take or wish to buy there.
How much money should I bring to bct?
50 bucks is good
What Ben said, also you will get a “smart card” issued to you with an advance on it that will allow you to make last minute purchases.
