minister Stormie I went to the bookstore looking for a Bible for my husband. Because "I" want him to have a relationship with Jesus and spend time with Him. As I was browsing thru the literature my eyes caught a glimpse of your book The power of a praying wife. It was kinda hidden between two great big books. I almost missed it. I read under Power; that the power praying of praying is not to gain control over your husband and immediately I knew that book was for me. Sooo controlling I am. LOL Thank you for having me in mind when you wrote it. I can't put it down. God bless you.

My mom was only abusive to me and my dad. It's like she hated us for no apparent reason. She was very nasty to me and yet I have 2 other sisters who always was cared and lived by her. But when it came to me she was very very nasty towards me for no reason. She once put chilli powder in my eyes and mouth and locked me up in the bathroom. My dad's sister heard me screaming and crying while she was visiting so she came and saved me. Then she offered me to come 4 holiday cos she had 2 sons and we all got along so very well. So I used to to my dad's sisters house on most school holidays just to be away from her cos she looked 4 sum thing to hurt me or destroy me. She called me a b**** bcos I only played with the boys at school. So I never understood her. She hated me and my dad 4 no reason cos she has dark secrets and I was the intelligent one in my home and I could see what she was doing. She blocked me from doing many things in my life. She hates it when I am successful with anything and she is never happy with what I give her cos she expects me to give her all my money. I have my own family and 2 sons to take care of and she always bossed me around all the time. I forgave her now but I just stay very far away from her cos I know that she will NEVER EVER be happy 4 me no matter what I do 4 her. Even though she was so nasty to me I still paid her bond off and did what my dad told me 2 do. She didn't even call me when my dad got sick. I made it on time and my dad's last words was
"Look after mummy and Danny"
I gave them all that I had and both of them turned against me in 2012 and they destroyed me. So I made a choice to just ignore them. I learnt to speak less to them. Some days when I was in Dbn I didn't even go visit them cos I just thought if I go they will create trouble 4 me. So she rocked up 2 my home by bus and came to create problems. She didn't know I am divorced. Imagine if she knew that what she would have done. I love my mom and my sister but I don't agree with what they do to me. They always ready 2 attack me 4 no reason and both my sons witnessed this on many occasions. So since 2012 I was on my own. I just silenced myself from all the violence and turned 24/7 to my bible and prayer. But then the Devil appeared on Sathie and he started attacking me. He was the one who finally shut my mom up but he did that 4 his own benefits. So now I am left all alone with no job no business no funds and I'm just praying. Stormie plays a great part in my life. I read all her books. Most of her books are prayer books. I gained a lot from all her books. I think I got every prayer book she wrote cos I didn't know how to pray and so I learnt from reading all her books. I read most of her books and her situation is like kind of similar to mines. So I enjoy reading her books. I'm currently reading her book A story of forgiveness and healing. I read it twice before so this is the 3rd time I'm reading it. Most of my books I read 3 times and then put it away.

Stormie: your books centre around prayer. The bible teaches us that love covers a multitude of sins. What a testimony it would have been if honoring your mother despite her shortcomings would have been part of your testimony. I pray that Our Father shows mercy to your mom and other moms who have similar battles.
