- In this video how to basic and I team up to show you how to catch a bird. There are many ways of doing this, but this is the easiest and most effective way of doing it.
Just remember, birds are very good for our environment: They eat all of our trash, they convert the c02 in to oxygen, and their millions of flapping wings cool down our ever-heating planet.

That second trap you have is sold at harbor freight. I use it for squirrels all the time just change the springs to more powerful ones and attach the bottom to a board. The board will make it a bit more stable when it goes off and lift the front off the ground a bit which should help it to click in better.

The water in hummingbird feeders needs to be replaced regularly. If it doesn't get replaced every few weeks, or even *less* in hot locales like Southern California, the sugar water starts to ferment. A hummingbird's heart stops working when exposed to alcohol and they die.

Hey Idubbz,
This works for me, buy a small cheese grater and attach the grater part to the trap trigger and wedge pumpkin seeds (or any other harder seed) to the holes in the grater and whatever animal won’t be able to just snatch them off, at least one seed will trigger the trap.

I love you, man. For the hummingbird feeder be sure that it's not dyed feed. Non-color's much healthier for hummingbirds.
Also make sure the feed is washed/cleaned at least once every 2-3 days.
Perhaps if you put a sheet or something as a backdrop in frame for the camera the motion sensor would work better.
