Ignacios draw is impeccable 👌 but the rest of his game isn't too great 😕....the only guy with crazy cue control and dominant wins is efren Reyes the magician and best that has ever lived!
*Mika is SUCH a strong player - looks almost like he's not acclimated to this shaft or something. ?* *(of course, I know they both are -- but Jeff didn't miss these kinds of shots)*
Shot on the 2-ball at 55:22.... Ignacio takes a good 121 seconds (thats a good 2 minutes). Did he take a timeout, or are they playing without any shotclock like in APA or other tournaments?
I feel like the English never took. Maybe there was some chalk on the cue ball and it skipped. Tough to know unless you ask the player, which obviously we can't do. Lol.
Agreed. It's almost always a bad idea to switch camera angles while balls are moving, anyway. Also, i wish they'd stop playing with those table-level cameras completely. They may think that's a 'cool' shot, but it's also a worthless one, in most cases.
3 balls must either be pocketed, cross the head string, or a combination of both. I think you’re referring to the situation where 2 balls crossed the head string, but one of those balls was also pocketed. Unfortunately one ball can’t fill both roles (as far as I know). Kinda sucks in that situation. I kinda agree in a sense, if one of those balls traveled all the way past the head string then came back to the side pocket I feel like that should warrant a legal break. But that’s the way it is. Chinese 8 ball also has this break rule.
Three balls must be potted and/or cross the kitchen (where you break from). Any less is an illegal break. Opp can refuse, but not push out, Breakee can push out if shot returned.
@@kaio100ken yea on tournament tables they dont have a headstring (the line where you break from usually on pool hall tables) so it's hard to notice things like that
If you write anything on your computer, you need to learn how to spell. Grammarly is like using GPS to find your destination as compared to opening a map book and learning about your surroundings.
@Erin B He was forcing a set up, being weak with power, spin or what ever and taking it out of the shot, cheating the shot subconsciously. It works sometimes but this is what typically eventually happens, and amatures soon have to learn when a shot is not there, the limits of shots. Usually at these guys level you never see this type of thing, EVER. They have well gotten past that point of learning, but it shows that maybe if not in stroke it can creep up again. Something we wouldn't know about maybe. Also if he is being lazy, not thinking about the shots, kind of on autopilot, that could be it too.
@@mescellaneous one way to, to know what happened maybe, if he got the desired cue ball position from the shot but missed the shot, then he prob over cheated it. But if shot missed, and cue ball way off position for next shot, then yeah maybe something ilke you said, or just didnt' cue it right.
There’s something about Ignacio’s game that is so satisfying, maybe it’s the rhythm?
The end of 11th rack, the 2 draw strokes from Ignacio are beautiful.
Ignacio has been a new coming rising star for past 5 years lol
Love mika! Especially when he switched hands and is so cool. The way he handles pressure is relatable
great commentary guys. you're able to have a chat, but switch right back to the action if something really important happens.
Miscellaneous like Mika’s illegal break? 😐
Like calling Ignacio De Luna? 😐
I still like them, but “great” is a bit much for this match.

Is that 8 feet table ?
@@DuiMonteroTV96 pretty sure "Griff's" doesn't have any 8 ft. Tables..
One of Mika's better matches lately.👍
38:50 Even though he put backspin, not a pure draw shot since it went off the bottom rail. Seems the draw was just to prevent the scratch.

*@**39:00** -- he did NOT mean to play it two rails, hitting the 2nd BELOW the side? As. if.*
why did Mika walk away at 6-4 when he made a ball on the break???
It was an illegal break.
3 ball rule was in effect, as it often is now.
Foil?
Great place great players
Congrats Mika The Icemen
welp. Ending spoiled
47:41 mika made a ball on the break, why is it his opponents turn?
didn't hit 3 balls behind the head string on the break which is a foul in the rules they were using
did 3 balls leave the middle after break?
Illegal break.
The explanation is already posted.
Someone watch but never learn the rules and you are the one

The rule where you can break and at least 2 balls cross the foot string AND you make a ball yet its considered an illegal break is just garbage to me

Im curious too.
3 balls must cross the imaginary line where the player placed the white ball during the break.

could be his adjusting to the carbon fiber shaft. he overcompensated the deflection on that shot.
