Anyone else hear shades of "New Order", being an 80's kid it resonates with me. Such great variety to the Silversuns Music, a song for every occasion and mood LOL. Bless their souls !!!
I once wrote a short fantasy story, in which the main character is enticed to go to the very place he was warned about. The pseudo villian used a spell to sing this song along with his cronies over a TV, nearly putting the main character in a trance after having a terrible day. Sure enough he did go to the Black Oak Woods. While it was easy enough to get there, for more reasons than one; it would prove much more difficult to get back!
Cz it's one of their severely underappreciated gems. 4 yrs, you have probably fell in love with it, overconsumed it, tired of it, and forgotten about it by now, lol.... still underappreciated, still one of their best!. peace
I love this song, I know this may sound weird but the part where it says "somebody somewhere, will clean out your wounds" that part reminds me of when I fell of my skateboard.
i believe the story is about Hell in this song, as the unknown person is told "to be afraid of everything that lives within" and how the crowd "was once like you", as maybe they are devils or lost souls sent to Hell. further in the song, it speaks of how the singer was saying "no one comes; no one goes" probably speaking of the people of Hell. he also tells the unknown person that he was going to tell how it came to be, but the person "has given in" or became it . strange, but thats my opinion.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? ... "If you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you." Or rather, what you see depends on yourself as much as that which you judge.
@@brirael ME TOO I heard this song on the radio once and I have been looking for this for a long time Then my mom listened to this and I recognized this And it was THAT SONG
Some of us really don't care who this tune reminds you of or that some of you hates it. This song is BADASS (yeah, in MY diktionary, this is the exact spelling and meaning, the same). Don't like it? Listen to something else. If you just wanna bug somebody, go find a cop.
oh wow, never did I realize this was silversun pickups. ... night lights is forever my fav.... anywun else ever think this could've been a song for Ben 10?? 😆😂👽👾
I'm a targeted individual and when I heard these lyrics it reminded me of gangstalking. When I saw your comment about " the game they play" I couldn't help but wonder if you are also a targeted individual
I think it is about a secret satanic society. They have a new victim they are playing evil relentless invasive mind games with. They are always watching and hunting for a new victim. That person will either commit suicide and be considered a sacrifice, or join their hive mind and become like them. Once the victim joins, the wounds created from their abuse will be cleaned out by their dirty fingers since they were the ones wounding the target in the game. Once the target gives in and joins, no one comes no one goes. It says they were all once like you implying there is a change in them sort of like becoming a spiritual collective vampire that now feeds on the living.
Watch the movie "eyes wide shut" it was stephen kubrick's last movie. He died before it was released. After he died, Spielberg and tom cruise re edited the movie to remove scenes exposing too much hidden truth about the evil society hiding in the shadows.
Last Reply I promise. There many movies to recommend but one more I believe alludes to this mysterious game they play is called " the game" starring michael Douglas
Yeah; Blue Monday lyrics……similar base beat; but it’s pretty different sound when you compare the two . This definitely reminded me of Blue Monday (New Order) , as soon as I heard it. Both great songs. Blue orders bassist said he actually got his sound from a Sergio Leone western soundtrack; one of those old Clint Eastwood movies I think. Lazy eye is an even better Silversun song I think though. Panic Switch is pretty cool too I’d say. Awesome band; especially these days.
So, if I understand this correctly, the song is about someone giving in to their urge to kill. After their first murder, they get high on the power they feel it gives them, and they start seeking out other victims. "The pit" symbolizes the primal need to kill
that bass tho. she's amazing.
hey r u a teletubbie

hes making a refrence to hell- the pit
What the hell is the pit, I think it is a metaphore for something , what do you think hes talking about

Also read the story written by Nathaniel Hawthorne called Young GOODMAN brown.
Another good read is "the trial" the last story written by franz kafka.

I had the same thought.
The symphony of death ☠ literally the words of this song Is talking about people being pulled into hell by demons.
Tell me how do I feel? Tell me now how should I feel?
How does it feel, to treat me like you do?
Nice catch.

yes
"Somebody somewhere will clean out your room "
lol the guy who put the dislike must feel ow XD
I always thought it was "clean out your womb" not "clean out your wounds".
Is this a remake of an old song?
.... Am I the only Supernatural fan here?
Nope, i like Supernatural!
HeatherWantsACookie I love supernatural but how is this related?
I thought it said "buried alive" I kind of wish it did too hmmm :(

Could be metaphorically too. Maybe he's a serial heartbreaker.
Nah g. I found something about the meaning on Google. Bc that's always a reliable source. That's what my professor said
This song fits Dexter
