Mikki had signed a non-disclosure agreement, talking about Joe Jackson would have meant talking about the Jacksons and therefore about Brandon. She prefers to leave the doubt, to protect her son. Some media outlets deliberately did not detail Brandon's statement after the 2014 DNA test case '.."...I am not pursuing MJ's legacy, I have always been well taken care of and I make my own money..." Why did the Jacksons take care of Brandon since he was born, Joe was only Miki's manager for 2 years???

Chaka was poison I have heard so many bad things about her. my friend's that partyed with her in Seattle. I knew about the abusesive husband. but I never knew just how bad it got with drugs. all I know is she just disappeared. another true Hollywood disaster.
Miki Howard was an adult that made an educated decision. Chaka Khan may have been an influence, but she most definitely did not introduce Miki to drugs. Miki said herself that her ex-husband was a drug addict. The part that I didn't like about the movie was when she portrayed Chaka as the devil...or her temptress. We all know that Chaka has battled and conquered some major demons, but Miki made an educated decision..no doubt about it. She played the innocent role a little too thick for me.........
Well I've always followed her career and loved her voice and style, I'm happy that they've decided to have a biopic/story about her, cause it introduced the new listeners to her, I saw her at a stadium in 1992 so I've known about her since the late eighties...she deserves the accolades.
