You look exhausted mama ! You moved with 6 kids and now your at doctors offices all the time and still decorating your new home. It's okay ! Be nice to yourself and treat yo self!! 😅♥️
I am autistic and I was day time potty trained at age 3 but it was not until age 13 that I was night time potty trained and it was just like one night it all just clicked and my pull ups ware dry at night
Water shoes! We keep water shoes in the van for all the littles during the summer because they can be worn on the playground they can be worn in the water the can be worn to walk around the zoo or the store or anywhere and they are cheap. Honestly I usually find tons of them during summer at yard sales. They have some water shoes now that look like sneakers. Just my recommendation.
I like hearing potty training advice from a mom who has an autistic child , not from all these random parents that judge my 6 year old autistic boy without knowing, I tried the insurance diapers but they weren't good quality, my son would complain that they were uncomfortable all the time, daytime were almost all the way potty trained but not night time either, I believe when they are ready they are ready, we just have to provide opportunities. thats why I love your channel, you helped me feel better about my parenting today!
You guys are so awsome you changed your youtube and started showing the challenges in life i love hoew real you are we going to starte vloging pretty soon
You’re incredible. You’re powering through depression, taking care of yourself and your family. Makes me want to do the same - I really needed this today 😆
My youngest who has ASD refuses to potty train most days. It's been so hard. We make strides and than nothing but it is getting better. We just had CMS help with getting good nite pull ups. It's been so easy. BUT they are generic pull ups. It's still a huge help.
We just went through the insurance covering my daughters diapers. We started with talking to our pediatricians office and then we had to find a place that would accept our insurance and had incontinence supplies. It's taken 2 months but we should be receiving our first shipment tomorrow.
THANK YOU!! I have an ASD kiddo that just turned 8 that is still in diapers at nighttime. I had NO idea that insurance covered them...makes me sick to my stomach to think of how much $$$ we've spent on diapers over the years. Greatly appreciate you spreading the word on this service!
Love your videos and the sponsors you do are always worth watching.. I am having my first baby so any baby or child ones and very helpful as it’s not always easy at knowing what’s good or bad x
Lonnie is me while editing. My husband will talk to me and my Face ID stuck on the screen 😂. You are super mom! Its nice to see another mom of many doing all the things.
If she is on sucralfate or pantoprazole, both worked miracles for me when I had ulcers and problems eating!!!! Sucralfate in particular really helped me!! Though the pills were giant they really helped coat the lining of my stomach and made me feel a lot better!!
My daughter who is moderate to severe autistic and she still isn’t potty trained and thanks to you I now have a way to get her pull ups through Insurance!! Thank you sooo much ❤️❤️
Hi Stephanie Just think back to all you have done this year following a pregnancy that had rough times,no wander you feel exhausted & low.You are amazing & need some me time when/if you can manage it.Love seeing Noah with Penelope he is such a good big brother💖💖💖
did you know that some kids that are not on the spectrum have issues with night time issues for potty wise until nearly 13 to 15 years old so each child is different
I just love little Liam!! He is always smiling so adorably!! Nellie too! ❤️❤️ I’ve never seen a more chill baby than that sweet Penelope ❤️ & btw you rock momma. I know some days are harder than others but you do such a good job handling things w/ all you have going on. All of your family is awesome❤️
Even older kids not on the spectrum can have problems. My brother was one he ended up with a pad that sounded at night to wake him up. Eventually it worked. Maybe that can help. Thank you and your family for making us part of your family. Here's a hug.
OMGoodness, this is so timely. My grandson is on the spectrum, taking several meds several times a day. He experiences high and low moods, but at the age of 12 has started regressing during the day. It’s upsetting for all involved. I will most assuredly pass on the info about the child sized diapers.
That is a wonderful sponsor ship and great way to let other families know that you can get help. It’s wonderful to find out there’s ways to get help. Great video
I have similar stomach issues, is it candida in her throat? I have had it multiple times and had gastritis. I take omperazole and it’s a huge help. I also went to a holistic doctor and literally did shots of aloe every morning to help heal my stomach and gut. Stay away from green leafy vegetables, always lay on your left side, and a gluten free or FODMAP diet also helps a lot! It gets better!
Listen. Noah my just genuinely be a bed wetter that is not associated with his special needs. I have 6 kids as well. All of my boys have been bed wetters and they aren’t special needs but they have all been bed wetters. My mother was a bed wetter and that’s where my kids have gotten it from. My boys have outgrown it at different ages. My oldest was 14 before he was “night potty trained” coincidentally all my boys have been heavy sleepers, the house could burn down and they would never know. They have also all been sleep walkers, drool and talk in their sleep. My girls have never had any of those issues. Anyhow. Just thought I would tell you my story. Good luck hun!
I saw the restaurant clip amd I got so jealous. My son freaks out amd starts to scream, kick, claw when in a seat amd won't sit still. He is showing signs he wamts to potty train but not sure how to go about it. Love the information you gave. It'll help
I think the company that is sponsoring this video is doing a really helpful thing! It’s not useful to me, but that’s no matter. This could be a game changer for parents with a special needs child and low income. I don’t think anyone enjoys calling up their insurance to get something approved, but this definitely changes things.
Sorry I just been watch all your videos I don't reply most of the time but I've just got to tell you what a beautiful family I see when I watch that baby girl is adorable a little princess she is. Love you all I love Ashley and her children also.💜💜💙💙💙💙
I’m sure I’ve said this before, but I’ve really enjoyed watching the growth of your channel. Being a former coworker of Lonnie’s, it’s extra fun for me. Your UA-cam skills have skyrocketed the last 6 months or so. I enjoy the work you guys do with editing!
Steph,I will be praying for you💕Depression is crappy(to put it very mildly),and sooo exhausting.Hopefully upping your meds helps.Loved listening to Lex in the doctors chatting is soooo beautiful ❤️
My son was just diagnosed last month with Autism. He will be 3 in November. Thank you for this information! I’m a nervous wreck about potty training . He’s nonverbal and has such a hard time communicating. I want to start trying when he turns 3 and hoping it goes well but hearing from you I know it will be okay if it doesn’t ever be potty trained . Glad I found your channel also !
They do make reusable large cloth diapers or reusable adult depends. It's really not that hard to deal with it. Plus it's better for the environment. Currently have two in cloth diapers one being autistic.
You are telling me you have 6 kids? Or at least 3 under 4? Is not the same K have 2 and I don't have time to wash anything by hand and I HAVE TO do laundry only once a week and don't get me talking about putting away the clothes once they are washer 'cause that sometimes takes me a week to do.
My daughter is mid range autistic and she wasn't not night time potty trained until 11. She used pullups overnight. She was day time potty trained at 4. I also have autism and I'm high functioning. My daughter is almost 23.
High Stephanie. My sister has a 14 year old boy. My nephew is on diapers all day. All though some days are more easier than others it is difficult for her being a single parent of three boys. But just like you she is strong and powers through the day. Love your videos. As always lots of blessings and love to you all.
If you have ulcers you should definitely not eat "normal". Remove all acidic foods from her diet, pop and even chocolate. I'm having major stomach problems (think its ulcers) I will be getting scoped myself soon :/
They told her that she could eat normal aside from anything that is high in acid: red sauce, spicy things but I asked her and she said not to think that much about it as far as diet is concerned
Bless him. Unfortunately it's not just an autism thing. I have struggled with it my whole life and I'm in my late 20's. It's so humiliating and I feel like I am the only one in the world that still does it. But I think the way you are handling things is incredible
Noah's night time struggles may have nothing to do with his ASD. My brother(also named Noah) had issues until 14, me 12 and my neurotypical daughter (now 18) until 13. Some people have weaker or smaller bladders. Some people compress the spine which squishes the bladder. Hopefully it won't be too much longer but if it is, you've got this.
Have u tried a teaspoon of honey 4 Noah 4 wetting the bed at nighttime? It works like a charm. I seriously did it with all 3 of my boys and it worked everytime😊
I was born with Spina Bifida. I am on bladder medication. No matter what i still as 30 have night time accidents. Daytime is really rare. I have a nuerogenic bladder. Maby you can ask for 5 mg ditropan just for nightime. I have to do it 5 in morning and 5 at night. Just to help his bladder to hold in while he is sleeping
I don’t have any disabilities or diagnosis’ of any kind but as a little kid I was potty trained at a normal age, however I was not night time potty trained and wore pull ups till maybe 8(I’m really not sure how old I was it’s been so long). But yeah it’s not that I wasn’t potty trained but I really didn’t know it was even happening until the next morning. What we did to try and work on it with me was I would go to the restroom right before I went to bed even if I didn’t have to, my mom would make me, even I fell asleep on the couch she would wake me up and make me go before I went to my bed. Eventually I slowly stopped going. Long after though maybe 1-3 times a year I would have an accident but as I got older it stopped(funny thing is each time I would have the same dream I was sitting down on the toilet😂😂). Anyways I’m done with this long comment but my point is it was a struggle but I want Noah to know it’s okay to struggle!❤️
Thanks for this!!! U rock!!!! Also u are amazing idk how u do it and I got 3 u are a real super woman!!!! I admire you so much. I too go through some depression and it's rough but we got this!!!
Could Lex have ehlers Danlos syndrome. Some symptoms can be low iron and dislocation. There's many types and the most common is hyperflexable ehlers Danlos syndrome or heds I have a form of eds
Hmm. It doesn't really seem like it because he wouldn't have as much coordination as he does, would he? Plus, couldn't they have just found out in their genetics when he was assessed by a geneticist?
Hayley they wouldn’t have found hEDS because the genetic marker is unknown. However as someone with hEDS I don’t see any symptoms in him other than the one dislocation. Hip dislocations and dislocations in general are much much more common in infants.
I really appreciate your sponsored videos. I feel that they are things that are actually useful to me and my family. Right now we currently use cloth diapers, but if in the future we have issues with potty training our Noah, it is very good to know that there is help out there. You are such an amazing mom and person. I love watching you and your family!
I love ❤️ watching your channel !! I’m also a mom of a large family with a child with special needs.I know how hard it can be with all the approvals, doctors appointments and still juggle the rest of the other kids.Your a strong 💪 momma!!
Don't forget that because of the bipolar you had to be manic during the move and Lee's escape, and Danielle's illness. You have gone through so much, as my shrink says, "Give yourself grace." Be blessed .
I definitely agree. I really wasn't "manic" during those times (I haven't reached manic status in 10 years lol) but definitely the move caused more of an "up" feeling and then now everything is getting back to normal so what goes up, must come down. The sickness and Lex escape caused anxiety more than anything.
You should see about getting Daily Energy adult gummies made by Nature Made and a vitamin D supplement. I've noticed its helping me A TON with feeling down, sluggish and depressed.
You are amazing mama! Thank you so much for sharing with us all. I love watching you guys. Beautiful family. Where did you get the rug that Penelope is on? We have tile floor and looking for a nice soft rug to put down so our 6 month old can play on
Stephanie my youngest daughter regressed. She went from totally potty trained and started having accidents all the time. The doctor put her on a tiny little pill. I believe it was an antidepressant and it strightened her right out. That was about 40 years ago. Lol
Here in Michigan all we have to do is talk to our doctor and basically get prescription from them for diapers (and possibly wipes I can't remember for sure) after the age of 3.
I'm not autistic and wasn't night time potty trained until I was 13, unfortunately I didn't get diapers or pullups I was embarrassed and beaten at times. Here's what happened: I have sickle cell trait and had severe joint pain at nights as it got cooler, I was in pain until around 3am then I'd get some relief, after such a night it was so hard for me to wake up, I just let it go! I stopped wetting the bed the same night we moved off of the cold hills. Never did again.
We had my son's doctor to put the referral in through a company that sends them to me. My son is 9 he's not night potty trained we've even tried ddavp and it didn't help
My 9 year old son was fully potty trained at the age of 4&1/2, and my younger son was fully potty trained at like almost 6 Every child is different... it just takes patience and time. Both of my kiddos are special needs.
My special need grandson used a electronic device that sensed dampness in his underwater and a alarm would go off to let him he needed to go most children only wear this at night but he needed it in the daytime for a while it worked wonders and was only about 50.00 on amazon
Barbara Nelson my nephew use one of these and I can honestly say they’re brilliant it honestly drove my poor system and having to change beds every night as pullups just didn’t stand up to the job 😐
My son is also in the spectrum and his turn 5 years old and his behavioral therapist and his currently getting potty train he does well in the morning and at night he wears a diaper (I do put him in the potty before he goes to bed) ABA implements favorite snack for potty training (that he never gets only on special occasions) and we use it for motivation for my son to go potty and receives it when his done going to the potty and we set a timer to keep him in a schedule (reason why we have timer cuz my son is autistic non verbal) and he can’t let us know how he is feeling so we have always keep a close eye just in case he has pee or dodo accidents.
My 5 year old just potty trained 2 weeks before his birthday. I think it’s sometimes a boy thing. Hang in there mama you’re great! Also my almost 7 year old who has multiple delays is daytime trained but not nighttime. I’m on the same road as u
Stephanie your awesome when I'm watching ur videos I feel like I have a friend im actually getting angel sense for my son I commented on your Facebook and said jiobot was cheaper but I looked into angel sense and the price is alot lower than I thought and has alot of great add ons the things you sponser are so important to me i wouldn't even know about if you hadn't told me
I studied special education in college. If your child doesn't potty train by the age of 5, please ask for behavioral evaluation. It can be one of FIRST sign of a behavioral disorder. Early diagnosis is key to getting support early. Personally I didn't potty train until 5 or 6 and ended up being diagnosed with ADHD.
Super unrelated to the video, sorry, but could you tell me what blush you use? I have the same skin tone and lots of freckles, and that color looks absolutely gorgeous on you.
My son is 6 and pee daytime potty trained but not poop trained and not nighttime potty trained it can get so frustrating at times but we just keep doing what we need too I'm in the process with his insurance to try and get his pull ups covered
You look exhausted mama ! You moved with 6 kids and now your at doctors offices all the time and still decorating your new home. It's okay ! Be nice to yourself and treat yo self!! 😅♥️
The amount of patience you guys have is incredible, I would’ve lost it since the beginning
I am autistic and I was day time potty trained at age 3 but it was not until age 13 that I was night time potty trained and it was just like one night it all just clicked and my pull ups ware dry at night
Aww
Huh. Ok. That is great that you were able to retain the skill eventually.
Good job
Wow thats awesome I just potty trained my 3.5 year old earlier this year but working on 2 year old son it's been rough thanks for the encouragement
They are also autistic
The song for your outro always makes me happy 🙋🏻♀️💃🏽
Omg Me too

My 8 year old stepson have problem with bedwetting and the doctor described Desmopressin. This medicin works 9/10 times 😀

Something about Liam just melts my heart. ♥️
Mine too. He's the sweetest soul ever, like I am not sure he could ever really get in trouble ROFL
Thank you for this. I am depressed on this topic I have a 5 and 7 yo ASD in pull ups.
Hope things are getting better for you and your beautiful babies I get depressed about it too
It’s hard when you move somewhere new. Depression hits me bad after a big move. Good vibes your way momma!
We just went through the insurance covering my daughters diapers. We started with talking to our pediatricians office and then we had to find a place that would accept our insurance and had incontinence supplies. It's taken 2 months but we should be receiving our first shipment tomorrow.
Liam and Penelope are literally twins lol!! They are both absolutely adorable ❤️❤️
Definitely used that link for my son who on the spectrum and is not potty trained :) thank you Stephanie
THANK YOU!! I have an ASD kiddo that just turned 8 that is still in diapers at nighttime. I had NO idea that insurance covered them...makes me sick to my stomach to think of how much $$$ we've spent on diapers over the years.

Thank you so much just signed up my son is autistic and his turning 3 July 9
Girl I hope the depression gets better, you got a great soul and an amazing family stay up ❤

Love seeing the notification that you guys uploaded.
I recently started a channel because you guy inspired me.
Why is Nellie so darn cute and you should donate her clothes to once upon a child
That is a wonderful sponsor ship and great way to let other families know that you can get help. It’s wonderful to find out there’s ways to get help. Great video
I still can't get through to when your asleep I'm awake and you post your vid in the evening very late for me (how fun) :)
Tia Woolgar for me they post at 2:00 pm
Thank you so much for highlighting potty training issues and services.

@@elenagibbons4719 I meant omeprazole--just a typo!

I feel you, my son did the exact same thing! It's sensory overload! I just had to get a sitter. 🙁
I just found you guys! I have 3 children. A 4 year old boy, my 3 your old with ASD level 2 and my 1 year old baby girl.
I’d recognize All Children’s outpatient anywhere ;) great place to be!

Jacqlyn Gummert yes for cloth diapers!!! I cloth my almost 4 year old autistic son and my 3 month old daughter! ❤️❤️❤️
You probably don't have other kids and the time to do so. Sorry but is the truth, sometimes you just have to do what's easier and faster.

I love ❤️ watching your channel !! I’m also a mom of a large family with a child with special needs.I know how hard it can be with all the approvals, doctors appointments and still juggle the rest of the other kids.Your a strong 💪 momma!!
Well..........life is NEVER boring for you!!!!
Love your glasses Stephanie
Your such a great mom, how do you not get tired ?
I am exhausted almost all the time lol
I'm not autistic and wasn't night time potty trained until I was 13, unfortunately I didn't get diapers or pullups I was embarrassed and beaten at times. Here's what happened: I have sickle cell trait and had severe joint pain at nights as it got cooler, I was in pain until around 3am then I'd get some relief, after such a night it was so hard for me to wake up, I just let it go! I stopped wetting the bed the same night we moved off of the cold hills. Never did again.
Awesome video so needed
Yes it was amazing and my grandson also has autism
I have really been thinking about getting one of those but they're kind of pricey so I didn't want to spend the money if they didn't work
My son is also in the spectrum and his turn 5 years old and his behavioral therapist and his currently getting potty train he does well in the morning and at night he wears a diaper (I do put him in the potty before he goes to bed) ABA implements favorite snack for potty training (that he never gets only on special occasions) and we use it for motivation for my son to go potty and receives it when his done going to the potty and we set a timer to keep him in a schedule (reason why we have timer cuz my son is autistic non verbal) and he can’t let us know how he is feeling so we have always keep a close eye just in case he has pee or dodo accidents.
I know I will be criticized for this...but I used m&ms...and they worked!
Thanks for making the potty vlog. I'm making a playlist for my sister's son whom is autistic. He is five and been having a few delays.
My 5 year old just potty trained 2 weeks before his birthday. I think it’s sometimes a boy thing. Hang in there mama you’re great! Also my almost 7 year old who has multiple delays is daytime trained but not nighttime. I’m on the same road as u
I’m on the spectrum and I only had one accident when I grew out of diapers. I think I had the accident at age 8 or 9 and I’m in my 20’s now.
I love your glasses. They look so good on you.
Thanks for this particular sponsored video. My bro could use this for his autistic son who is not potty trained. 💙
Love your family❤️ all so sweeet❤️
Super unrelated to the video, sorry, but could you tell me what blush you use? I have the same skin tone and lots of freckles, and that color looks absolutely gorgeous on you.
My son is 6 and pee daytime potty trained but not poop trained and not nighttime potty trained it can get so frustrating at times but we just keep doing what we need too I'm in the process with his insurance to try and get his pull ups covered
Nellie is so Beautiful! I love her and I'm so glad your caboose was a girl!
