Apologies for late query, however can you explain how I can freeze layers using this method? I want to be able to turn some layers off from the display. Doesn't seem to work using this method, but does when I use individual viewports.....many thanks

Thank you for the video. I have a problem. I made a 3D model, from that a 2D model, then made a half section. I want to add the half section a centerline, but I am not able to do it, because, in the center of the half section is a line, that would cover the centerline. How can I add a centerline, that I would see?

Hello, im using Acad 2014 , im unable to convert to 2d in layout like u did in video at 1:54 min onward. Switching to layout bring only same drawing as in model. Selecting base from model option only allow me to select amd move object option.

I am having a problem that may be common for others using these base view commands in which the details and section views of my base view in my layout disappear erratically. And when I preview or export to PDF, they also do not appear. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

I have researched this problem for the layout tab not appearing in the ribbon just like in this video and came to find out that this tab was not added untill 2013 auto cad version. Im new to auto cad so i did not know this was not available in the 2012 version. thanks so much for your help.
