    Hey everyone! Just a heads up we will be doing Sunday uploads now since we've been called home for work earlier than expected. We still have lots of Jasper and Banff filmed to share with you, and will also be doing weekend trips to the spots we missed. Lots to come, just not as frequently! Thanks for being with us and take care friends!😄🍁

    Another great video "Guys and Friends", I love your spot on the water...those water falls looked incredible...what a jackpot you didn't have to buy a new Annual Pass...a quick wave update...I didn't do great this weekend, 1 for 25...if each one of your viewers got a wave this weekend, then we are making huge progress👍 Stay safe and hopefully you were able to finish off your Rockies trip before you had to head back for work...keep up your great work "Guys and Friends"

    • @LukeandAlysha
      @LukeandAlysha  4 роки тому +1

      Bummer, but hopefully it inspires other people to wave more as well potentially and will keep spreading! We got one recently but still a lot more no waves. Class As sure have been tough to get to wave, maybe they look down on our C haha. We'll see how the upcoming weekend goes at least. Cheers friends and thanks for tuning in!😁🍁

      @@LukeandAlysha LOL on the class A's, I agree it might be to hard to see that low with the big windshields...lol...we have a trailer so we're not sure if they even see us...lol...just kidding...keep the waves going and hopefully you guys will be able to find more time to get out camping now that work has started up again...stay safe and keep on waiving "Guys and Friends"👍

    Hi guys been on the road for 40 days now stayed at the same camp ground the loop camping with hook ups was a joke but those fire pits and tables down by the river made my day safe travels

    • @LukeandAlysha
      @LukeandAlysha  4 роки тому

      Nice that's a good length so far hey! It was a little low on the privacy in their for sure, luckily we had some nice neighbours near us. The river side was definitely the highlight spot though! Take care and safe travels 🙂🍁

    Good episode guys. At least you get to enjoy those sites with out the thousands of Asian tourists.

    • @LukeandAlysha
      @LukeandAlysha  4 роки тому

      We've been wondering what this year would have been like with regular tourism levels. Jasper and Banff surely would be way busier but even just how much more competitive all the BC campgrounds would have been as well. Maybe in a round about way we got lucky their at least? Sure had blast regardless! Cheers🙂🍁

    Thanks for the drone shots around Mt Robson. We were there at the end of Sept but took very few pictures due to the smoke coming from California.
    So the National Parks now accept BC residents. When I phoned Banff at the end of May they said NO.

      Hey Kev! It was indeed a but of a surprise getting the call and a bummer. At least it will set us up well for next year's plans and adventures now though. We were loving being so busy for year 2 on the road but we want to be traveling and Youtubing long term so it's a sacrifice we had to make! Hope your projects have been coming along good and you're enjoying every minute of it! Winter is coming as they say haha. We'll still have weekend trips etc on our end to keep us busy at least. Cheers!😁🍁

    So glad you guys got a clear view of Mount Robson, as it's often shrouded in clouds. I think you hit the only heat wave of the year in Jasper! My siblings live there and it's not uncommon to have snow flurries in the summer.🤪. BTW, one of our favourite hidden gems on the drive to Jasper for a break is Eleanor Lake in Blue River. Free parking, gorgeous sandy beach, washrooms, dock, great swimming and fishing!

      @LukeandAlysha  4 роки тому

      Mount Robson was so beautiful dang, glad we got the views we did indeed! Definitely cooled off after the hot bit though still. Haven't heard of that spot but sounds nice, will have to keep that in mind! Cheers 🙂🍁

    This is my first destination for a long trip once we get to RV. My wife has been out West and did meet up with a grizzly nearly face to face. There was a camp fire between them as she popped popcorn. She looked up and there it was. Within a few seconds she heard “don’t move mam” and a shot. The bear turned and ran as she saw a Mounty on a horse with a rifle. Yea we got to get out there again. Cheers

    • @LukeandAlysha
      @LukeandAlysha  4 роки тому

    Hi Luke and Alysha, Good to see you guys enjoying in Jasper NP. Would love to see your trip down the Icefields Parkway and up the Athabasca Glacier. We had an exciting SnoCoach ride up the glacier last year. To see grizzly bear we went all the way to Prince Rupert and visited the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary in a boat. Would love to visit Canada again. 👍😎

    • @LukeandAlysha
      @LukeandAlysha  4 роки тому +1

      Hey Vijay! Next video coming up will indeed feature the Icefields drive! No Snocoach ride sadly, but we did check out the Columbia Icefield center and do the Skywalk over the canyon that was pretty cool. Didn't see any grizzlies in the end though! Cheers 😁🍁

    Kicking horse mountain resort at golden has a bear refuge up the mountain. you take a chairlift up the mountain the bear is in a fence. they give you a tour and you can ask questions about grizzly bears and if you are lucky you will see boo the bear. The best time to see Boo is in the morning. after that you can take a gondola up the mountain which is spectacular dress warmly

    • @LukeandAlysha
      @LukeandAlysha  4 роки тому

      Hey there! So the song after the intro is "Wear me out" by Gamma skies, if you meant the song right after the intro! It was on Epidemic sound which is where we get our Royalty free music from to use (link in the description if that interests you). As for maps, we just use Google Maps for everything. Shows you the route times, any accidents, and you can add stops and look for attractions, plus use street view and satellite view, it's pretty awesome. Thanks for watching and take care 🙂🍁

    Just wondering how is it in the RV without AC when you are Boondocking in the summer ? I see you rarely have hook ups

    • @LukeandAlysha
      @LukeandAlysha  4 роки тому

      It can get a little hot, but we we're lucky to be by the ocean for the cooler temperatures and breeze on the hot days. Otherwise parking in shade, using our sun window reflector and driving around and doing stuff during the day with the truck AC helps. Every now and then on hot days in the sun we would fire up the generator to use the ac to cool down a bit though. Certainly can take a little extra planning!🙂🍁

    So many memories from our 2017 trip. Our first Tim Horton's experience was in Jasper (not that impressed honestly). Really a shame you didn't ride the tram to the top of Whistler Mtn or get out to Maligne Lake and Spirit Island. But at least you don't live as far away as we do :-) Lots of waterfalls along Icefields Pkwy and Athabasca Falls is worth a stop also. The road to Johnston Canyon was closed when we were there but I hear it's a must see kind of experience. Here in the US, the most recent data shows that 40% of the people who test positive for Covid are asymptomatic .... meaning that they have the virus and can spread it just like a sick person and they're likely the ones who don't "believe in wearing a mask" and walk around in public places. Here in the US many places require masks and have signage stating that but because our government refuses to back mask science, no one can actually enforce the rule.

    Your cat obviously is planning the end of the world. That’s what cats do for fun. That and bitting people’s toes at 4 am because they find it hilarious. I myself can’t count the number of times my cat has begged me to put Armageddon on.
