Re potting Garden Mint

Today I have separated our garden mint plant into 3 pots to give it some room to grow and to give us more mint to harvest.

Jon, Do you do anything special to your herbs to get them through the winter? I planted lavender & rosemary last year but they didn't come back. I thought maybe it was just too cold where I live but maybe I'm not doing something I should be doing? How cold does it get where you are in the UK? Any suggestions?

+Kathleen Mills Hello Kathleen, I just cut back the Lavender and have a general tidy up in Autumn. Most years it stays above freezing with only a few days / nights around -5 Centigrade.

Is it ok to just grow your house mint in Multi-Purpose compost and perlite and gravel ???
It’s all I had as I had not regular potting mix
