Mom lives in Tennessee in a log cabin at the end of a ridge overlooking a valley and stream below. My dad, my brothers, and I all built that cabin by hand. Mom heats with a wood stove. Deer and turkey in abundance. Closest neighbor is 2 miles away. Nearest cell signal is about 2 or 3 miles away. Love that place. Heaven on earth. Dad loved the place.Said he talked to God more in them woods than in any church he'd ever stepped foot in, What I'd give to end each day on that porch watching my kids run through the woods. Seems like 1,000 miles away from where i am now. Gotta change that some day soon. This song starts a movie of memories going in my mind that i wish would play on forever.

10 mos. Ago I arrived back in my home town to see my brother in the hospital bed kept breathing by machines, saying goodbye over a 10 day period, taken long before his time. Heard Faith and Tim sing this song and I could not hold back the tears, it made me think of my brother and the great times we had "back at mamas". Thanks for the memories.

One night singing one of your songs (It's Your Love), someone from upstairs in the Holiday Inn came down to the bar and told me they got excited hearing the song and came down to see if it was really you singing. I'm sure they were being silly, but the compliment is one to remember. :)
Too many memories to share. Spent the summers on the grandparents' farm. Picking strawberries in the day and roaming the forest in the twilight. Grandma's rhubarb pie and making strawberry preserves. Getting up with Grandpa at 5 am and listening to his music on the radio. I never knew what kind of Country it was until I heard the Carter family years later.
They are gone now but I'll never forget.

This song is my entire childhood. And I think it's fricken amazing Tim McGraw can fit my entire life into four minutes. I've grown up knowing that farm life is probably the best, that it's ok to mess up and that you have to get a little messy if you're gonna get a job done...Am I right?

It's the most beautiful, tranquil and comforting place in the world and I love that my neighbours are horses and cows. No one should ever miss the feeling that only the country allows. im so crying i moved to the city life and it gets so hetic and stressful. i miss my little small town in colorado, my grandma house when she would cook supper, but she passed away. this song brings me joy. i miss her & home so much.
They are such an amazing Couple, not only do they make beautiful music together but they have been together for as long as I can remember. I mean just take a moment to look at the way they look at one another. It's truly the sort of relationship I hope to have one day! If and when you have children, make these memories by what you do. Raise them sternly but fairly, take time (no matter what) out of your busy schedule for them. Ask them how their day went and listen with both ears, (good parents mean well, but forget to ask). They will relate to these lyrics automatically.

Country music, like lots of other music genre's have lost that feeling they once had. It seems EVERY country song today is some guy singing about his jacked up truck & getting girls. But not Tim Mcgraw, he's pretty oldschool :) need more people like him.

This song takes me way back. To a simpler time on the farm taking care of the cows,horses, etc. with my grandpa. I didn't much enjoy the work then but looking back now, I would give anything to do something else one more time with my grandpa.
Just lost my mom too early. We were planning to move back close to my parents, specifically to have my amazing mom help raise my daughter and future children. She was so excited about it, as were we all. If you can do life like this song and be back with mama, just do it. Don’t wait. Wish I had realized this sooner.

I can't stand living in a small town of 50 fifty people, I go crazy living in a city because people don't know how to drive xD. I love living in the country, grew up on a small family farm. My profession will be in a city when I finish college, but I am going to make sure that in the future, I will live in the country where I belong. Where I can let my little girl run freely without worrying about her being snatched up by some sick people.

Tim Mcgraw is an absolute genius. This is the only true country song I have heard in a very long time. This song proves that he is definitely one of the best country artists of all time. He can sing fun county songs like Truck Yeah and passive upbeat pop songs like Lookin For That Girl and still do real country music at the same time. Genius. Never seen another artist pull that off and be successful at the same time. I hope to see Tim making music till the day he passes away and I hope that when i have kids that they will enjoy his music and grow up listening to Tim.

I remember listening to this back in 2014 when I was playing Minecraft on the PS3. It was part of mom's song collection (Billboard Hot 100 September 2014). This song along with the rest of the songs included in the collection never fail to bring back memories.
I also listened to this song in particular when I graduated elementary school in 2015. Crazy how it's been 7 - 6 years since.
Times were pretty much okay back then. I miss it.

It's because the video does not look like porn (for example "Anaconda" or "Work"). I personally love this video(and the song), it shows that a woman does not need to be practically naked and twerking to be beautiful. Thankfully some men still have respect, and know that women are not there for your convenience. That's probably mostly why people have disliked. Sorry for rambling but things like that just piss me off.

This song brings back great memories. My mom and I used to sit together in a craft room that also had the washer and dryer in it, and listen to Faith Hill, or tons of other country music. But I always and still to this day remember all the words to Mississippi Girl, since that was my favorite. And this song even adds to the memories because it resembles the simple but sad life I've had. Moving states is the worst thing a young child with best friends could have happening in their life.
My great grandma recently died at the ripe old age of 102. I'm not a country music lover but this song hits home for me. This song reminds me of all the memories I've of her farm in a small town called Anthony,Kansas. Beautiful song

Now I realized I can't live without country music. It doesn't only make my mood happy, it's my life and it helps me pursue my dream whenever I listen to them. I cannot listen to pop music, they're only addiction, you can't get anything from music without inspiration. I'm from the Philippines and I'm proud of my village because it's Nashville to me. im a huge hip hop head as well as rock/metal but when this song came out i heard it and it turned me on to country big time, 10 years later and i have a large playlist of country, i think my top 5 are luke bryan, chris stapleton, brad paisley, cole swindel and kane brown.... love me some country, especially on fishing days

This song hit the airwaves right after I moved out to LA...this and Jason Aldean's "Flyover States" would knock the air right out of me. First time I heard it, I had to pull off onto the side of Forest Lawn off Ventura Freeway and just bawl my eyes out. Whenever I heard it after that, I'd sing along driving through the heavy LA traffic and smoggy-sunshine and cement everywhere....and God, how my heart would break every single time. Shoulda known I'd never make it out there in the long-run...I missed home too much. Always grateful I ended up "back at mama's" where life is just plain simpler and more meaningful. Life is all about being surrounded by the folks who you love most.
