I thought it was for motion sickness, doesn't nurse also have it? Because you're rushing around fast, but you're also sitting in your chair (motion sickness), and because you are fatiguing and losing a focal point.
@@pot7979for it to help with motion sickness it would have to sit still in the middle of the screen, like a little crosshair. I don't think it appears anywhere in dbd besides when you're affected by a clown bottle as a survivor
@lady8823 because survivors have more objectives and categories like working on gens, team work etc. If you want more BP you need to work harder to fill up those categories where as killer is more Straightforward. You're also sharing those objectives with 3 others

The paint in the eerie of crows is related to her perk "pentimento" which is a total change of a paint in a finishing stage of the paint itself, covered by a new layer of paint or painting something completly different
Number 24 could be an example of a pentimento (not to be confused with the perk), where there can be visible traces of an earlier painting underneath newer layers of paint. I've seen museums highlight this feature by showing black and white images highlighting those areas of pentimenti, similarly to how it's seen in the screenshot.

It's actually pretty interesting, the red forest map's lanterns. If you did the Easter egg perfectly by blowing out all of the lanterns until they stopped lighting up as dredge, you can get a super rare skin for dredge. It makes it into a collection of woodland creatures with a rotting dear skull as it's head. Pretty cool if Im honest, took me about 5 hours to figure it out
@@KytoYT you have to get a 4k with all hooks in the basement and one final lantern appears during the last survivor's sacrifice, you have such little time but damn it's worth it, like I said took me 5 hours

I think the rugs might be a representation of the map's layout, maybe if you use an offering and repair the gens in those positions, in that order it could reveal the secret

By far my favorite map easter egg is the Nostromo keycard room. On the map you can randomly find a dead space suit guy, if you crouch as a survivor you can collect a keycard. If you go to main building, near the generator there, and input the code Left, Down, Up, Right, a door will open, and inside is a chest that guarantees a very rare item.

#26 is legit, but with the plague, you have to actually Mori an infected survivor in the room with the altar and the torches light up, there's a noise from the basement and a door open in there, freaking awesome Easter egg and a new plague skin!
Just so you know, I figured out that the trigger for the store bell on Autohaven is not the doorway, but the little cable in front actually. It runs along the ground and you can walk over it. Even without entering the store it will ring the bell.

interestingly, the furthest statue at 9:13 actually DID turn toward you, even though the others didn't. I wonder if it's a radius effect around Sadako that prevents them from following the camera, and that one furthest away was too far away to be affected.
Another little fact I found out, some of the mannequins are in fact partially corpses. Not only because of the blood, but if you hit a normal mannequin, you get a thwack kind of sound, but hit the human parts, they make a squishy sound. Also I can't tell how much of this is April Fools or not.

How is it fair or even fun for us survivor to get 50% less points than the killer. I'm already ready to leave this dead game for good. They need to fix these points out and balance it so the survivors get more. Somehow, the PTB is even worse than the PTB patch notes. I don't think the devs tested this first. I think they changed the numbers and slapped it on the PTB. There is no way a dev team tested this personally and was ok with it. I can't believe that.
Are the switch locations fixed or different each time? I imagine you could use the most optimal path as trickster and set this up as fast as possible. Edit: I just realized I got omega trolled

There's also a secret room on the Hawkins Laboratory map (which got recently re-added, as I'm sure you're aware) that only Nurse can access by blinking into it :) Inside, there's an obscure message on the wall for Paulie Esther.

In addition, the checkerboard pattern on #27 (Skull Merchant/Shelter Woods main building on the monitor) looks like the main building of Crotus Prenn maps. I remember seeing Cowshed pictures on the walls of Badham or Lampkin Lane. So maybe it's a reference to other realms?
I dont know if youll ever do another dbd secrets video, but if you do, heres one Huntress's hatchets have a white trail normally, but a yellow trail when fully charged
On the new mother's dwelling map there is no need to do any gens for the golden toolbox to appear. It'll alway be under the roof of killer shack, window side and can be seen from outside. I did some work and it's always there, no matter the gens, hooks nor spawn does affect it.
Fun fact, on the gashaven map you don't have to walk through the door to use the bell, there is a Black wire/line on the ground infront of the gas station and walking over that triggers the bell
Also when Spirits map was release i belive the wall with Oni's mask and his Katana there was an kodachi. But when Oni was released that Kodachi was missing. I could be wrong
After spending dozens of minutes talking these secrets through with my girlfriend and trying few of them ourselves I really wanted to dislike after reading the comments.. But you sir deserve a medal for it. My positive ambition for this game gets usually fooled by behaviour but this one takes the cake - I tap my non existing hat to you!
I genuinely have no idea which ones are real and which ones are jokes. I knew quite a few of the real ones, but all of the "easter egg" ones I've never tried before. Also, I'm pretty sure the one on Lerry's (light change) is a joke, but think of how cool that would be if it weren't. Imagine: you haven't seen the killer all game, you're just playing a regular game on Lerry's. The killer might be afk or a Myers, but all of a sudden your screen glitches and darkens to red. I would dedicate so many hours just to scaring players that didn't know about features like this.
There should be more unique interactables for killers in the environments like the Myers one and there should be unique interactables for certain survivors I'm so bored with staring at a bar filling up I play both sides and I understand why killers are played more
There are defenetly more survivor players. You need 4 times as many survivors as killers and yet matchmaking incetives still give bonus bloodpoints for killer at a certain time of the day. However I still agree that there should be more to the survivor objective. Make gens not take as long but add some kind of other objective. This would also open up new possible perks since atm any perk that doesn't buy the killer a lot of time is close to useless.
He is a wild guess as to what the highlighted rugs mean on plagues map. After you sacrifice Victor the rugs had marks they all only had 1 mark. But the rugs have 9 different places the marks could be. So if it isn't a cypher or code then maybe it's a checklist. Maybe there are other places marked with 🕯 candles🕯 or Graves that also require Victor's sacrifice to activate more spots on the rugs. (That theory requires all the rugs to be telling the same information just spread out so that you'd notice) Second theory would be that perhaps the rugs point to the next section of the egg finding. The puzzle after that is firstly did sacrifices victory act as a permanent step towards the egg (meaning we could swap killers and come back for other sections of the unlock) or are we supposed to continue with twins and what else can twins do to interact with environment. Perhaps it's a simple repeat the Victor glitch in 9 spots on the map or maybe it requires survivors to trigger end game collapse. Maybe you need a survivor to kick Victor to kill him nearby other candle areas
for 12, my idea is that the girl is Alessa, and she’s crying in the bathroom cause the janitor raped her in the bathroom while she was hiding from bullies, and she gets scared when you make noise as she thinks the janitor is coming back to hurt her again
if you will kill victor so many times till the mats pattern are completed a cool easter egg will appear i tried it and it happened with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In addition, the checkerboard pattern on #27 (Skull Merchant/Shelter Woods main building on the monitor) looks like the main building of Crotus Prenn maps. I remember seeing Cowshed pictures on the walls of Badham or Lampkin Lane. So maybe it's a reference to other realms?

That part about the hindered status not allowing you to fast vault has at least been changed. You can fast vault while fully infected with uroburos
Wesker's infection doesn't apply Hindered. It's a different mechanic and doesn't affect running speed which in turn is what affects the vault speed.

On the new mother's dwelling map there is no need to do any gens for the golden toolbox to appear. It'll alway be under the roof of killer shack, window side and can be seen from outside. I did some work and it's always there, no matter the gens, hooks nor spawn does affect it.
Fun fact, on the gashaven map you don't have to walk through the door to use the bell, there is a Black wire/line on the ground infront of the gas station and walking over that triggers the bell
Yes that's what makes the bell chime. It is a real world item that rural gas stations would have to let them know a car pulled up.

I genuinely have no idea which ones are real and which ones are jokes. I knew quite a few of the real ones, but all of the "easter egg" ones I've never tried before. Also, I'm pretty sure the one on Lerry's (light change) is a joke, but think of how cool that would be if it weren't. Imagine: you haven't seen the killer all game, you're just playing a regular game on Lerry's. The killer might be afk or a Myers, but all of a sudden your screen glitches and darkens to red. I would dedicate so many hours just to scaring players that didn't know about features like this.
I really hoped this one was real but I don't think it is. Imagine the chaos.

There should be more unique interactables for killers in the environments like the Myers one and there should be unique interactables for certain survivors I'm so bored with staring at a bar filling up I play both sides and I understand why killers are played more
There are defenetly more survivor players. You need 4 times as many survivors as killers and yet matchmaking incetives still give bonus bloodpoints for killer at a certain time of the day. However I still agree that there should be more to the survivor objective. Make gens not take as long but add some kind of other objective. This would also open up new possible perks since atm any perk that doesn't buy the killer a lot of time is close to useless.

He is a wild guess as to what the highlighted rugs mean on plagues map. After you sacrifice Victor the rugs had marks they all only had 1 mark. But the rugs have 9 different places the marks could be. So if it isn't a cypher or code then maybe it's a checklist. Maybe there are other places marked with 🕯 candles🕯 or Graves that also require Victor's sacrifice to activate more spots on the rugs. (That theory requires all the rugs to be telling the same information just spread out so that you'd notice)
Second theory would be that perhaps the rugs point to the next section of the egg finding. The puzzle after that is firstly did sacrifices victory act as a permanent step towards the egg (meaning we could swap killers and come back for other sections of the unlock) or are we supposed to continue with twins and what else can twins do to interact with environment. Perhaps it's a simple repeat the Victor glitch in 9 spots on the map or maybe it requires survivors to trigger end game collapse. Maybe you need a survivor to kick Victor to kill him nearby other candle areas

for 12, my idea is that the girl is Alessa, and she’s crying in the bathroom cause the janitor raped her in the bathroom while she was hiding from bullies, and she gets scared when you make noise as she thinks the janitor is coming back to hurt her again
