A triumphant and dramatic performance by this very much-loved theatrical rock band! I was there to witness this spectacle! Without question, "He Is" is their best song, and was delivered perfectly!
One of my fav songs by Ghost. I don't think they played this tho at the show i went to in Feb this year. U lucky! They rocked anyways. One of the best shows ive ever been to!
It’s incredible to hear a whole auditorium sing the praises of Satan. Sure, it’s all in fun, but man this song is such a killer it makes me wonder if Beelzebub himself co-wrote it!
You realize ghost is satire And this song isnt about satan right? Ha ha It used to he called "she is" and tobias has admitted the song has more depth and it's not just about satan
People make it what they want it to be about in their own hearts and minds. Tobias was thinking of his brother when he wrote it, so... Satan if you wish. Or God. Or Joe Rogan. It matters little.

You say it was about his brother while another poster says it was originally called “She Is.” It’s a testament to Tobias’s prodigious talents that he’s able to come up with something that seems so obvious to me, while it’s a lot more ambiguous for other listeners. Either way, it is an amazingly beautiful song no matter what the actual meaning or meanings actually are.

He said it was originally about a female influence and it evolved into "he is" after Sebastian Forge passed away. Tobias said it slowly became about his brother for him. So both answers are correct. Or you can take it's meaning completely superficially and say it's about Shaytan and that wouldn't be wrong per say. Just more to it than that. Yes, it's a beautifully written and arranged song. Very worshipful.

@@ronaldorodriguez104 they joke around but I don't think they mess up on purpose. It had to be visibility for sure. In a mask like that you have to look all the way down with your head and use your eyes lol
He’s gotten better. Used to mess up like that too often with the old guitar which I think is partially why they switched since he said it was go hard to play. Happens to everyone
