No Astrobot or Alyx 🥲
Man, for how much everyone hyped this, it was pretty lackluster. Without that I think it would have been solid.
This was a blast to an E3 PS showcase. I remember that year when people became insane over the CG of FFVII and just the title art of Shenmue 3.
Fun days.
Love it! Thanks guys!
Yeah I don't see cat quest pirates of the purribean " burying " the xbox
Vod does a weird skip form FF16 to Alan Wake. How much i miss?
It’s the next game if I remember correctly
Spider-Man and whenever fallout 5 comes out are why I’m gonna buy the ps5
Fallout 5 will be Xbox exclusive
@@CristianAcosta-ce2pf Ik thank you I thought of that five minutes later
@@CristianAcosta-ce2pf MS has said existing IP should still come to PlayStation. If it doesn’t then means they’re liars & no more of anything else Doom, Quake, Wolfenstein, etc.
I know everyone is complaining and disappointed about the showcase but i honestly though it was fire. I guess I just like all video games in general and I'm not just waiting for bloodborne, gta and twisted metal. Would that have been awesome? Of course. I like what they showed though.
Not bad, but after what we got in 2021 I was expecting more. 6/10 because Insomniac ended it with a nuke. Dragons Dogma 2 looks great, MGS3 remake seems nice, and honestly Phantom Blade Zero looks cool. The rest were pretty solid but some of them are not for me. But I am excited for Marvel’s Spider Man 2 for sure.
It's not that it was a bad showcase but it was definetly not enough after almost two years. Specially from a first party perspective: 4 games of which 3 are GaaS of which 2 were just CGI trailers... Wtf man
To be a Bloodborne fan is to know pain, to embody it.
What the heck happens at 36:54?
Stream went down
This show was quite disappointing.
After re-watching it was better then I think we’re giving it credit for. I just think so many of us (me included) are so hungry to see what PS’s fantastic 1st party studios are up to and they didn’t quite deliver on that front. I think if we had got gameplay for MGS and some of the other bigger hitters in this the showcase the absence would have been lessened but we’re still waiting to see so many studios and what their working on. I’m hoping we get a 1st party blow out towards holiday season / beginning of next year.
Santa Monica, bluepoint, bend, wolverine, naughty dog, sucker punch are all unknowns still. Hope we get to see them soon.
As a PlayStation diehard fanboy since 1996.. this was a gigantic wet fart of a showcase. I can’t believe how disappointing it was. No FF7 Rebirth. No TLOU Factions. No Solar Blade. No Wukong. Nothing from Bluepoint Studios. Spider-Man didn’t even show us Venom in action. What the hell was this garbage showcase Sony? What are you thinking?!
it was kinda cool to see spiderman in the venom suit again but beyond that this entire showcase was fairly flat. Did get a good laugh at the sony handled thou lol
Wukong never was announced to consoles, lol
IM STILL DISAPPOINTED
NO SILENT HILL 2
NO FF16 DEMO DATE
NO RISE OF RONIN
NO DEATH STRANDING 2
NO FINAL FANTASY 7 REBIRTH
NO STELLAR BLADE
NO LAST OF US FACTIONS
TIME TO WAIT FOR SUMMER GAME FEST 😢😢😢😭😭😢😭😭😢😭😢😭
gta 6
Why not get excited for the new games they did show off?
@@jefferystafford9657 theres like 5
@@lotusluv I thought more than that
@@jefferystafford9657 fair but so much more was riding on this showcase. they let most of the playerbase down
5.5/10
Spider Mans edgy voice is igving me spider man 3 PTSD. how did it ship SO BAD lol
People rly are hating this time. We got multiple exciting things here. Not sure exactly what people expected. Spiderman, metal gear, phantom blade 0, Final fantasy. Not bad at all but people are saying its "bad"
- No LOU coop reveal despite hearing last year we would see more this year
- No Wolverine despite getting a trailer nearly 2 years ago
- Nothing from Bluepoint despite last releasing something over 2.5 years ago (and surely having their new game in development for at least that amount of time)
- Nothing from Sucker Punch despite Ghost of Tsushima 2 likely in development for the last 3 years or so
- Nothing from Santa Monica despite Cory Barlog stating in September 2021 they weren't ready to talk about the next project just yet
- No Spiderman confirmed release date
- No SH2 updates, despite the game apparently being technically finished according to Bloober and being a PS5 launch exclusive
- Very little shown of MGS3
- Haven and Firewalks exclusives didn't reveal much about what they were
People are never happy…
@@MulletMan3108 what a crybaby, lol.
@vault29a just echoing most of the community really. We've expected Spiderman 2 at this as the release date hasn't changed in 18 months, FF16 isn't a surprise either. The surprises were the lack of big 1st party title announcements as highlighted above.
This would have been mediocre in a year where Sony had another Showcase . We haven't had a showcase in a year and a half. This was bad. It felt like a like an Xbox showcase in a bad way
5/10 - Only Spider-man 2, Phantom Blade, MGS 3 Remake and Dragon Dogma's 2 are the games I liked besides the ones that are already coming out in a couple weeks.
hoping for infamous in the future!
That team is working on Ghost of Tsushima 2, so that wont happen for a really long time if ever.
@@xxxshinomorixxx yeah i'm hoping maybe another team could make a new one, it seems a lot of Sony studios share their tech & knowledge, maybe one day we'll see another.
1:09:24 😂
Great showcase for Xbox
This was an awesome showcase!
Kinda funny, where are the games from PlayStation at?
Only Kinda Funny is not excited for Dragon's Dogma. Typical lol
There is no hype in this live stream 🤣🤣 the whole video is just them mentioning the game and typing in there computer
For future reactions, maybe don't put the game titles in the timestamps. This is my first time watching and seeing *spoiler* "Metal Gear?!" pop up when I paused the video before the reveal kinda took away the surprise.
"They put Sam Lake in the game"
You sure that's actually not Max? Because you know, they're remaking 1+2. Also the voice of Max was also thrown in there.
This was a L for Sony. Has to be.
That was a legit 5/10 not the worst but legit forgettable
I’ll be getting Spider-Man 2 on my PS5, but most of the others shown (excluding VR2 titles) I’ll get on Series X because they’ll look better. The showcase was pretty much a letdown for me. There’s always next time.
Or on PC
@@carolinagamer2874 I would but I’m just a console gamer. Maybe someday I’ll switch over. It’s great that the pc gamers can enjoy most of em all in one place though. Win win.🥳
I thought it was pretty good.
This is a good Xbox showcase. Where is the PlayStation showcase?
Show was like an old xbox showcase long n boring
We are paying double Sony for our kids and us, don't listen bored journalists and UA-camrs we know what we want - only straight content third person single player storydriven adventures and RPGs with realistic next gen visuals cinematic cutscenes, quicktime events and perfect animations ONLY what there someone does not understand and continue to waste our precious time with stupid easy to make first person view nonsense and easyminded multiplayer NO we want only straight third person single player storydriven adventures and RPGs don't waste a second of our precious time Sony PlayStation are we clear
It won't take much for the Xbox showcase to beat this Starfield getting its own showcase so Hellblade 2, Avowed and indiana Jones will top this easily plus whatever surprise drops show up if they announce Scalebound it's a wrap
Is Scalebound Xbox's Knack 3? lol
i don't think Scalebound's ever happening. Starfield even if it's great will let most people down, it's been hyped up way too much; Hellblade 2 i'd wager is still a long way out, same with Indiana Jones & Avowed, as Avowed had it's development started over about a year or so ago.
as someone with both consoles i'm intrigued to know just what Microsoft will show off that's actually ready to show. maybe whatever Compulsion's working on, maybe something of Fable or Perfect Dark, perhaps whatever id's been making since Doom Eternal...
@@NF_Redux Hellblade 2 ain't a long ways out it could release the end of this year Indiana and Avowed will probably be shown and could be 2024 releases just those 3 beats Sony and there's probably going to be some big surprises that we don't know about
@@Steven-ik2yf i hope you're right, but we've barely seen anything of Hellblade outside some dev diaries and a very scripted running sequence. we might get more gameplay in a showcase, but i don't think the game will be out just yet, i'd wager around this time next year, but i could be wrong.
much like Perfect Dark, i'd love to see sometihng of the Indy game, just to see if it's gonna be 1st or 3rd-person. given MachineGames pedigree & history with the Wolfenstein series, they're the perfect team to be making it, and we might get an update on how Outer Worlds 2 is coming along as well on the Obsidian front...
Not bad but could have been much better. You guys were cool though.
Finally now PS fans know what it's like to be disappointed like us Xbox fans!
What does PlayStation have confirmed for 2024 PlayStation Studio wise? To my knowledge nothing atm? Was expecting this showcase to tell us what to expect and get hyped for? I would hope Somy has another Showcase lined up later this year because from a 1st Party pov that was underwhelming. No release date even for Spider-Man 2? Not even at the very least a reveal trailer for an upcoming 1st party game? This was an extended state of play not a showcase. Also, what makes it more underwhelming imo is that we have not had Sony Showcase in nearly 2 years so there was always going to be hype.
Confirmed? Nothing but TLOU Factions and Wolverine look very likely for 2024
New low for Playstation Showcases
That's why is 2 weeks before not E3 so everyone forgets about this snoose fest! 😂
Alan Wake 2 over here looking incredible and Blessing is sitting there being annoying as fuck and whining about Remedy making too many games. So obnoxious.
