You have to know this.... i listen your entire music way to work every single days, also it inspire me to make new music on my piano Greeting from México. Still waiting new music
Even if i use some stuff from Plugin Alliance, FabFilter and Soundtoys more, these Waves classics always have their place in my projects. It's similar to your choice, the R-Bass, the L1 and L2, the CLA Compressors, the SSL Buss Comp, the H-Delay, the API's. These Plugins are very handy and ensure a good workflow for me. But for a SSL Console Channel, i always prefer the Brainworx One !
Sounds gorgeous dude. Please, which Drum kit did you used ? guessing it's SDX Death and Darkness but which kit/preset exactly and which combination of snares actually ? Keep up the great work man !
Hey Mendel, why does the Hdelay move around my leads like it is out of time? I've used the exact same settings, my track all of a sudden sounds out of time.
So far i’m absolutely loving it: The stem bounce function, the bounce que (my god this should be a standard for all DAW’s) the new MIDI editor options. Christmas came early
God bless your soul for keeping your channel add free
It’s awesome to see this process. I’d love to see more of this content!
Your stuff sounds great - Big and energetic without being harsh. Definitely need to check out more of your content. Good luck to you!
It’d be really awesome to see you do an overview of an entire mix! Ssl ftw! Thanks Mendel
Thanks so much for sharing dude! I’ll have to try these in my next few mixes for my covers!

Thanks for the kind words !
Subbed as soon as I heard those guitars... Man thats some tasty playing and tone !!!
The L3 Ultramaximizer is pure magic!
I love to use the SSL for buss compression ! Almost every mix I do have the SSL right after some small EQ.
1:40 Hmm tbh that limiter there really annoys me, the guitar gets pushed back too audibly even though it's a couple of dbs.
Thanks for video! very useful

Agreed!
Great, thank you!
Nice job.
Great content, awesome music!! \m/
Decending Upon Hades deserve playthrough, the best song on Omega !!!
So limiters go on the instr / drum buses as well before master bus?
jup!
great mix
Great! Although I own most of these too, but could do the same with the Cubase stock plugins? What makes you reach for the Waves ones?
The sound mostly, and also depends on the project. The SSL bus comp has something that’s unique to that plugin, samething goes for Maxxbass or Rbass.
@@Mendelian Could Quadrafuzz do what MaxxBass can? I love MaxxBass tho. I always go for the Pensado 2 setting and tweak that!

So u don't HP the SSL? You ever try Slates FG-Grey?
Nice job عالی

Make sure sure “HOST” is selected, so it’s in sync with the DAW.
The Chorus
The Pie compressor is really good for room mics, AFAIK it's also the only PWM compressor plugin there is.
Some more videos coming up incl that one, i didn’t want to make this video 30 min long haha
Speaking of Cubase, did you get the C11? If yes, what do you think about it?

@@Mendelian Yes, there are some nice improvements. And it runs pretty smooth. The 10 and 10,5 were very unstable for me.
Dutch Metal!
Cubase is a god awful buggy mess but it is intuitively laid out
