@@romxxii season 6 was unwatchable for me when I went to go rewatch it. Season 5 was still pretty good, and season 4 had its episodes. But yes 1-3 are peak television, community is like my second or third favorite show
1-3 are the cream of the crop but 5 and 6 are still excellent. 4 isn't necessarily bad tv, but it isn't community. It removes the soul, the heart of community. It feels like fan fiction of community written by someone who just wanted to do safe, fan service-y things to ride off of the success of seasons 1-3, which means it still has its moments, but those moments feel like carbon copies of moments we've already gotten. 5 and 6 feel like community. They have their moments, and those moments are their moments. Not copies of what came before, not desperate attempts to stay relevant. Just Greendale.
I think that the show just got way less fun after Donald Glover left. I understand why he did, his career was taking off and it was the best thing for him, but the show really did suffer because of it.

That final Jeff-Annie convo in Emotional Consequences is one my favourite scenes in any show ever. Just resonates with me so much and great performances by both the actors! I have no idea what the right way to resolve the Jeff-Annie question is but can't wait to see how the movie answers it.
Their ending was fairly open ended so we can believe what we want about them. Movie will give the ultimate answer, but in the meanwhile if you think they worked out then they did, but if if you feel they didn’t they didn’t. Either interpretation of it is ok.

Jeff stays in Greendale to teach and Annie goes off to DC to start her career with the FBI, Annie makes it clear that while she might like Jeff going out and living her own life is more important to her for the time being. We know the immediate consequences are they split up, probably still text, but don't hangout anymore. Maybe in a few years they get together but in that vein all endings are "open ended" cuz who knows what could happen 10, 20, 50 years from the end of a story. Which is the main thing people are looking for in the movie. Will the spark have fizzled out by the time they see each other again, or will they finally both feel comfortable hooking up?

incredible how Britta and Jeff didn't have any chemistry as a couple but were perfect as friends, conspiracy theories and interior design is my favorite episode, but my favorite scene definitely was that final Annie and Jeff kiss. It's a shame how Elroy and Franky took so much heat, they were great characters at the end of the road sadly.

I never realized until now that Alison Brie has been a part of my life since my teens and 20s. She starred in two shows, Community and BoJack Horseman, that had a huge impact on me. Aaron Paul was also there, but I only watched Breaking Bad after it ended.

Every time I see the scene where Leonard says "I've been in a few real wars, but this one is actually terrifying", I assume he's going to say something inspirational but then they just move on and I always laugh from the expectation subversion
I know Troy leaving is the darkest timeline, but the timeline directly after it has always been interesting to me. It seems like there are a lot more divisions between the group and I'm curious how that timeline ended up. The finale season episode where they reference the darkest timeline got me to thinking if any of the other timelines had the realization that they weren't the prime timeline. I already assumed there would be references to the darkest timeline in the movie, but that other timeline has interesting implications. Maybe it's just me, but idk. I like hearing about all the timelines, like the end credits scene where you get an update from a couple other timelines. I would love to get a run down of all the timelines and how they compare to the prime timeline. Maybe my expectations for the movie are a little high
