Infographics answering questions I didn't even know existed

Yes popular question
Same
Yeah same
Dat part
I'm Brazilian and I don't remember CS being really banned, I remember politicians talking about it and some problems with the Juvenile Justice system, but not an actual ban.
True, I used to play CS on lan houses,so no way it was banned.
Some places they tried but this is brazil, lawless land.
What about Doom
@@doggomoredoggo6547 I remember Doom having some some problems too, but I don't remember a ban, not even someone talking about it.
Yea i know a lot of friend who has or had this game
Man I miss when games didn’t have micro transactions
@@BenEh30 he's the future version of doomguy
I miss when games aren't released in beta state and paying full price for it.
Or people didn't get offended as much.
The simpler, easier life.
i miss those days when gta online and shark cards never existed
This is why we can't have nice things anymore
Facts and this is why the government are snowflakes and should either stop or seek help
this dude statin facts also nice name
If I remember right, there was some shooter game that was banned in South-Korea. I think it was banned, because South-Korea was afraid it might trigger violence with North-Korea since the game was set in Korea.
Now I’m really starting to regret getting a doctorate in critical game design
That explains why the color of the health pack changed in Subnautica- thanks for lettin' us know.
@Robert Sears must not play popular games
The reference to Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style makes this video that much better
That game was pretty fun too lol
It's actually quite important that you put that asterisk at the Germany point, as it is common for me to hear that German Censors are pretty hard, but really, we all own all the games that are available in other countries (with all the gore you have)
The censorship was pretty hard from 2000 till 2015. Maybe you're too young but we got everything censored. They lifted alot by now
Yeah man, cs and orange box that had changes, like people didn’t die the laid down with hands behind head and confetti instead of blood… look it up it’s funny to watch
Replace the humans with bots and this gets even funnier!
Now I TOTALLY want to play all these banned games !!!
Bruh
In short some commies and strict countries are controlling with very big egos.
Same here.

Same in N Korea, Middle East, N. Africa or any other authoritarian regimen.
@@hackman669 nah gaming is still easy in California
Ye the censorship in my country goes _hard_
Glad to see Pikachu's debut in an infographics episode :)
And with a nearly perfect recreation!
video games banned before guns think about that for a second.....
I fail to see the problem. Neither should be banned.
@@StupidityInANutshell name checks out.
@@DontreadPimpBoy I agree with him, neither should be banned. it's people who are the problem, not the games or guns.
@@DontreadPimpBoy what's wrong with supporting both?
The only actual problem is that games are banned, so...
7:31 ah. I feel the tear of nostalgia:(😔
no one asked
I hope Manhunt gets remastered.
IGS: “should have been banned”
_slap_ No! Bad ban-monkeys! Bad!
There’s no such thing as a not-silly state censor.
This is just really sad. some counties don’t seem to believe in freedom, while others just not handle nsfw stuff it’s just apauling.
That is why ratings exist in gaming. If you do not like the content do not buy the game duh!!!
Well..look at all the 5-12 year olds playing GTA5. Rating games nowadays seems more like a suggestion then anything else.
@@pixelgaming0074 it's always been a suggestion. How can the government enforce those ratings? It's thr responsibility of the parents to monitor their children's media intake anyways, I don't know why we expect the government to protect our kids for us.
@@Matityahu-the-God Yeah...unfortunately parents don't monitor it most the time. But then they'll blame games for violence and how their inappropriate like it's the company's fault
We don't need video games, but I get your point.
Games: is banned
Gamers: boys we will create a rebellion and equip you CoD guns
What about resident evil guns?
This comment is brain-dead in so many ways whahahah
Video games a actually saving lifes where im from..
Stay out the streets & stay on video games..
The mayor of Juarez doesnt like people slandering the cartels that sign his paycheck... wierd.
Well certain regions of Mexico and border nations are drug infused. If authorities do not stop the crime, the crimals will eventually take over.
I played a lot of the original doom (wich has red crossed health packs) on my computer. Recently i tried playing the xbox one release and saw that it had green crosses. I never asked why but it’s good to know anyway
Its wierd because Battlefield 1 and V have red crosses
Idk man, green med kits look much better to me tbh
@@tuelzalt they want to keep immersion I guess
@@Yoda_Panda yeah ...it was weird that InfoG said by law they cnt have it and those games are major brands and use it. Maybe its like a relaxed law
I use this channel for school assignments and projects this channel really helps

1:47 I like how he had to say “even in 1982” since people get offended easily in the 2020s
It's just that people care more about racism than they did a few decades ago. I don't see how this is bad, unless you are racist yourself.
I hope you remove this comment as it have greatly offended me......
Just kidding
@@johnkop4 It's bad when people start treating fiction as if it were real. Just because they care doesn't mean they're right.
That is the radical liberal media censors!!! Political correction is another way to limit free speech and take control.
Many Doom source ports had red crosses for medikits before being replaced with red-white medicine capsules and then green crosses.
*Next video: Why Life itself is being banned!!*

You guys are the best. Thanks for putting in so much effort 😃😊
"Unless it's that one game where you can fight as The Wu-Tang Clan."
😯😆😆😂🤣😭😭😭😕 nice.
Team Fortress 2 has health packs with a red cross printed on them... 😐
There should be an international law that says no entertainment products can be banned in any countries
Interesting. Unless the product may be far too extreme, that is.
@@SlapstickGenius23 Why tho? Noone tels u to play it and u can close it whenever u like, why cry that its extreme
What about Hatred? The game where you go on a murderous rampage, it made Postal look tame. I remember it was pulled off of Steam shortly after it was released, although if you bought it before it was pulled it stays in your library and you can still play it. Awesome game by the way.
I want it

No art should ever be banned.
Even art that promotes things like, drug abuse, sexism, racism, terrorism etc..?
Censoring is a very needed thing in society and not all art should be treated with respect.
@@smiles9882 those are absolutely the kinds of things that need to be guarded against censorship. Without the freedom to say unpopular or offensive things, your freedom won't matter when someone who disagrees with you has power over you. Someone may decide one day that your morality is actually immoral and punish you for crimes of indecency. Words are not actions, and when words are taken off the table, extremism and violence will be the result.
@@sainttrilby7171 I agree with you no censorship should be allowed
I think most of these games didn't need to be banned or changed in the first place and that Red Cross don't understand that gamers can tell the difference between fantasy and reality. I for one never associated any red cross health pack with their organization growing up.
The one with the native woman tied to a pole with a white man being shot at by spears …. That definitely needed to come down
correction: winnie the pooh isnt actually banned in china, just anything comparing him to xi jinping
Switzerland: I'll pretend i didn't see that
Red Cross logo is based on Swiss flag, just in reverse (swiss flag is white cross on red background)
@@yespeace2000 ik dude it was just a joke. Obviously Switzerland is older than the red cross
@@Napoleon.82 or is it? The "founding" date for the red cross might just be the day they left the shadows.

Fun fact about Manhunt 2 it's one of the few AAA games to get an AO18+ for violence in the USA
I Love Picachu
Don't forget that Arceus is, in being or otherwise considered a deity... Let that sink in. If that got brought up in some places... there'd be more reasons for it to be banned in Saudi Arabia.
Imagine being offended at being compared to one of the nicest, most harmless, and likeable characters in all of literature ...
Picachu
I have been gamer since 2000 now I am soon 25 years old and I played more than 1000+ games
You want a sticker?
Unfortunately I know what Super Seducer is, but I never played it.
I also know what Shower With Your Dad Simulator 2015 is.

Pokémon also has their own depiction of god: arceus
What God is a Woman , us Men are in Deep Doo Doo Poo Ohhh my God.
@DGERB5 🔥🔥🔥🔥 🔥🔥🔥 Fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Fire 🔥
I am pretty sure both sleeping dogs and dying light are banned in Germany as I can't buy em online
Spec Ops: The Line, a shooter I'm very fond of, was also banned in the Middle East because of its depictions of a war torn Dubai.
Let's ban books instead. Lord of the Flies, etc
@Carter_Ser!ble do you know what a joke is

Bully was also banned in Brazil
I’ve played multiple games with Red Cross on health packs. Including apex legends 🤣
IKR
Oh. That's the reason why the Medic operator cross was green.
How dumb are they when a video game has to follow real life rules that literally mean nothing in the game and people didn't associate with the red cross but still recognize the symbol in real life.
I like the background music to this video
I couldn’t stop jamming to it
Hmmm... When did death & killing had rules? Decent sentiment, but won't it get enforced only by the victor??
I love how the Halo Assault Rifle is on the thumbnail!
Some games actually do use the red cross and still use em.
People ban only the good games
REAL TALK:I cannot survive without playing 1 day
Iam from Brazil and i played a lot of counter strike in my childhood
Bro games keep people from killing in real life
not really , people still get killed and blame games over it
Actually, in regards to the Wolfenstein ban, the DeNazification (ban on all Swatzikas that had nothing to do with history, movies or documentary) was lifted back in August of 2019 after some talk in regards of Gaming being g part of Art
I was expecting a lot more whiney outrage posts, it's just the normal amount.
I saw that caption at 7:55 and I wish I played enough to get that.
0:00 Volk with a Thompson as the icon and 87 bullets in the mag… this is cursed beyond belief
It’s due to government over reach, but ye… good point
Aye where the dragon age fans at? Never thought wed get an infographics shout out
pretty sure theres red cross on health packs in overwatch
I had the 50 cent Bulletproof game, it was fkn awesome. Bought it the day it came out, I think I was wearing a g-unit hoodie and g-unit sneakers....I was an idiot yep
You get some cool games from the dark web
Video game: exists
China: and I took that personally
Why did Galaxy Invaders Alien Shooter just get banned from the Apple Play Store? I’m in their Facebook Group and the developers won’t even tell us after everyone has been asking.
Counter-Strike's "ban" is quite ridiculous. But if memory serves and my understanding is correct, it only applies to the city where the judge that made that ruling worked at the time. And only to physical copies as well.
As one would expect, that hardly affected CS's popularity in Brazil at all.
RED TF2 Medic: haha! Red cross on lab coat sleeve go brrrrrrr!
I can picture the Medic saying that. He is my favorite. 😂
Pretty sure Call of Duty Modern Warfare is one of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's favorite games.
Where I live in the United States the esrb is not strict regulations which I like a lot do and the government should not make choices for parents that should be the parents decision for which games the kids play that’s what I like about the ESRB
0:45 well... In theory. Only in theory, because in modern world probably everyone would be killed or captured.
What about games that never got released, like the game active shooter. That was never meant to promote shootings, it was meant to reduce anger
you guys really should do a you vs the graboid from the tremors series
Fun fact they can't bann video games somepeople makea living off of it and many huge businesses/ suppliers will shut down
It's kind of sad to do a video about censorship and agree with the censorship
I mean, there was a game about assaulting native American women. Literally the entire premise of the game. Kinda weird not to agree with censoring that one.
@@Matityahu-the-God Kinda weird to agree with censoring some pixels no one is forcing you to see nor affect anyone.
If you're only against censorship selectively, then you're in favor of censorship
@@kukuruyo5994 yeah, that logic works in a picture perfect world. In real life, there are just some things that don't need to be published. The world isn't so black and white.
@@Matityahu-the-God And you're the one who decides what needs and don't need to be published; gotcha.
@@kukuruyo5994 no, that isn't how it works either. Go ahead and stick with the all-or-nothing naive ideas, you aren't hurting anyone. Childish ideals are ok, because you aren't in any position to make a difference about it. Deal with it, and have a nice day.
But it's actually not a red cross, it's white...
