I'm kind of surprised this channel still exists after being willing to just call out Scientology for the scam it is. Usually doing that gets you sued into oblivion.
They would have to say someting untrue and they didn't, also info big enough to have their own lawyers prob checking things like that, as you say they love to sue.

The "Church" of Scientology was found to have filed numerous frivolous lawsuits by a federal judge. As a result they now have to go through extra steps before they can sue someone for defamation/liable in American courts. That's why they don't do it as often anymore.
Downside is they increasingly use English courts as a substitute.

I subconsciously kept giving Alison Mack a pass because of watching Smallville. Learning the full extent of her involvement is sickening.
There's one person I'm surprised wasn't on this list. David Koresh, the (former) leader of the Branch Davidians cult. He did some really messed up things. Research him at your own risk.
The worst thing he did was steal peoples wives and sleep with minors. A terrible thing yes. His followers were brain washed by his 7 seals, but they didn’t want to leave him. Nobody did. They could have if they wanted. The ATF bungled the entire thing and many people died. This lead to Timothy Mcvey watching all of this unfold. Upon which he in turn targeted an Oklahoma FBI building, murdering hundreds. Koresh wasn’t nearly as menacing as Jim Jones or any other serial murderer.
What surprises me is that the only Catholic priest who made the list was a guy who spewed hate on the radio when there have been many priests over the years who have been child molesters which is a far worst thing by comparison.
David Koresh was a bad dude, but what the government did to the branch davidians was worse. Probably the best example of why firearms are a necessity to a free society.

I still remember the letters that they gave us in school to give to our parents that said there was a serial serial killer in the area on the loose. Like we weren't going to open the envelopes and read them on the bus lol that started a huge craze.
There was a woman that was put to death after being convicted of burying an elder couple alive. The killer's name is Tiffany Cole.

How could you miss Richard Ramirez, the Golden State Killer, or the BTK killer? They evaded the police and their crimes were as horrific as those last 3 listed

I mean, yeah the body counts of some of these serial killers is high, but Albert Fish seems to me to be much more twisted. He sent letters and pieces of clothing or hair to taunt his victim's families, he targeted children, and ate them.
But serial killer's. Are interesting. Because I can't figure them out. I've had people look at me funny for even reading about them. & I wouldn't hurt a fly. Lol

i lived on foster, only 2 blocks from Gacys house. My grandparents knew Gacy before he got caught and always said it was such a major surprise. My grandpa in those days used to be a part of the Norwood park democrats and my grandparents used to go to a lot of his "lavish" BBQs. My grandpa always used to say how he disliked Gacy and knew there was something wrong with him, but never to the point of thinking he was a murderer. After everything that happened, my grandpa always said he learned the most important lesson in his life. Never trust your neighbors, especially ones that seem too friendly, and always trust your gut. He also claimed that after Gacy, the sense of community was destroyed. Went from parents trusting that their children would be safe playing outdoors, even at night, to a ghost town, where people wouldn't even let their kids go outside without them.
Jeffrey Dahmer didn't "target" black people. In an interview he said it wasn't about their skin color, because after everyone found out, seeing that the majority of victims were black, made them think he did it because they were black, when in fact he chose his victims based on their looks, if he liked them, if he was attracted to them, it was enough.

I lived almost my whole life next to the headquarters of scientology. They had housing, a church, and production company. We called it a castle because it really did look like that. The production company has a golf course that was open to club members. I knew a lot of people that would go there that weren't scientologists. I didn't find out until recently what is is. It's the only way out if town, in my area, so it was really creepy to go through there. I watched a documentary about it which is how I found out. It was so weird to hear them talk about my town and show video of places I recognized. 😳 They also had run down houses right off the road. That was really creepy because everything else was so well kept and the new housing was well behind the fence/gate.
They just got cheap and lazy....demolitions and clean ups cost money....so do the bulldozers and wreckers

Seeing Keith Ranieri on this list, let alone so high, was a shock. I cooked for them at a place in upstate NY that they used as a recruiting center. We always knew they were sketchy, but when the truth came out it was a shock.

Bell Gunness is one of the legends of my town in Indiana. it's so crazy to see her on this list bc I grew up next to one of her houses where she supposedly killed some of her husbands. they tore it down some years ago.

How did Ed Gein not make the list, the man wore peoples faces as masks, the monster made a couch out of human skin, etc.
His deeds were undeniably awful, but most of his victims were dead by other causes before Gein got ahold of them. The dead are not a demographic capable of complaining or voting, their living friends and family represent their hypothetical interests. I don’t know how many people Gein actually killed or how much suffering he inflicted while doing so, but I agree hearing about his lampshades and skin suits makes me nauseous. Can you imagine if the nerve endings in those skins were still functioning? Gein inspired more horror movies than anyone else on this list!

Specifically alot of his work was done in the name of gender science and alot of his theories are the ground work behind the transitioning of men and women. His work included a number of physically and mentally abusive experiments done on children. He's a very hard to talk about figure just because of how political things are these days.

Years ago, I watched a mini-series titled "Centennial" based on the novel by James Michener. There was a brutal scene involving the slaughter ordered by a character Colonel Skimmerhorn of an indigenous village. It looks like Colonel Skimmerhorn's character was based on the real life Chivington, because the scene was just like what is described in this video. I wonder if there was a real life son too, that inspired the character John Skimmerhorn, who disowned his father over it and went on with life as a cowboy and ranch hand.
Michener definitely based Skimmerhorn on Chivington. If anything, the violence of the massacre was toned down.
Oh yes, I was wondering this too! Last christmas I watched the whole series on dvd and this Chivington guy reminded me of Skimmerhorn.

There is considerable doubt on whether Clementine Barnbet was guilty of how many murders or whether she falsely confessed to avoid torture by law enforcement.

Watching Smallville as a kid, I never thought that I would see Allison Mack on a list of the worst people in American history, ahead of the likes of Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy and Charlie Manson.
I was half expecting to see the golden gate serial killer, a cop by the name Joseph James DeAngelo Jr., to appear in this list. That dude was truly evil.

I think there are soooooooo many more people that could be added to this list… like Jim Jones, H.H. Holmes, John Heller or Raymond Vonderlehr, Joe McCarthy and J. History teachers are dissuaded from teaching that part of history because the more carefully you study that era, the more likely you are to see that the story of the Civil War we've been taught is woefully incomplete and misleading. I've been studying it independently and been shocked at the things I never heard. Let's just say there was a lot more than slavery going on.

You should do an entire episode on the crimes done against natives as it’s worth an entire episode as there is plenty of nations with damage. Reach out to existing indigenous people part of those tribes and get stories, especially now during the resident school news being on light and it being important to listen to native voices and their families stories. Every nation has had problems with the U.S. and it’s government.
