I was waiting to take some friends into race control and the pits on Wednesday while waiting near gate 1 when a cyclist came in through the under pass under the tram track. Just looked like anybody who lived nearby. Wasn't until he took his helmet off that I realised who it was. Yep, it was Vettel. I didn't notice the bike. I do remember it being white though.
Fun fact ! You can buy most os these cars! In the case of Fernando’s megane I did make a video and some photos for the dealership afterwards and he was kind enough to sign the glovebox! So you can get your hands on a nice car with a nice autograph!!! I think is still for sale!
Honestly suprised the drivers still stick to basically brand new cars, i know its good for the brands but i remember i think Perez turning up in an older NSX, sticks out in memory far more than another Civic Type R. Imagine the drivers rocking up in say a Honda S800, a Mercedes 300SL gullwing, a Ferrari Testarossa, classic AM/AR/Renaults etc... They should be reaching out to classic car clubs
A question for anyone. I have never been able to attend an F1 race as there isn't one in my neck of the woods. It turns out I will be in southern France in July at the time of the French Grand Prix. Tickets are sold out but I am wondering if there are things going on at/near the circuit that would be interesting to see? Something akin to the tailgate party before an American football game. Thanks.
I guessed the left hand drive one's right! I'm British and so course I know British GP one and I know the Asian region are same so Japan was one I was certain but Singapore I was mmmm I think so only other Asian one this year. Else otherwise pre covid China too or in past Malaysia too. Not sure on the middle East places tho.

Probably not the best idea to be promoting where the drivers head into the circuit otherwise we might have a repeat of what happened at crown this year where I saw multiple drivers absolutely mobbed while simply trying to get to their rooms haha Security has a hard enough time at the Melbourne walk let alone trying to police another entrance 😅
