    Fram is the best! Fram has been around for a long time? And there still here?

      Whoa now! Some people have really strong opinions about oil filters (especially FRAM). As you can tell, I don't mind using them. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    I'm just concerned with the the max an minimum lines on your coolant reservoir tank.. that face the engine

    Thanks for the video, unfortunately Dodge corp 800 number to the mopar customer service told me that dex cool is for dodges 2014 and up. That FRAM is a 5yr 150k mile formula and before 2014 they take the 5yr 100k formula. But that's the problem because if it works fine and your not consistently having coolant system issues I guess works properly idk.
    My question is how to properly finish the very last steps after getting the bubbles out and taking out the funnel? The steps from getting the bubbles to stop all the way to your car is ready to go.. it may seem small but there are many small steps between those two to make sure you did everything right and its second nature to those who know what they are doing but foreign to beginners to know exactly what to do after you tool the funnel out and pour the rest back In the bottle.
    The coolant started to raise in my funnel and spilled over (so i turn the car off) im assuming the system had to much coolant in the system?
    I say that because its no way it would fit in the reserve part of the reservoir.. I see that your reservoir was full to the top like mine, when you took the funnel out towards the end. Do you just let all that extra coolant into the reserve part of the reservoir and let the car figure out how to release it? Because if that other side gets to full and its no more room the car can overheat. So how do you balance out your coolant to make sure you have enough and not over leaving the reservoir that full or should it go down once the car cools back down?
    Do you put your reservoir cap back on the reservoir while the car is running after you bleed the system? Or turn the car off take your funnel out than put your cap back on?
    Lastly what if the coolant drops below the max cool line after all of this, can you simply top it off or do you have to use that same funnel to top it off?
    And do you have to jack up the car to bleed the system?

      Thank you for watching and leaving your questions. To be honest, I'm not a professional, I just do the best I can and try to help others with what I do know. Your questions are best answered by experts. It's been a while since I did this video so, I don't really remember the smaller details. I imagine there are videos on UA-cam that will answer your questions. Thanks again for watching and commenting

    Hi I have a question, my car is boiling coolant and the engine temp keeps rising and at first I thought it was my coolant cap and got it replaced, went to my mechanic and it almost got to max temp on my way there. Would I have to check if my raidiator fan is rusted/had blockage ? I did a pressure test and no leaks and also I just got my gaskets replaced and thermostat. My car is 2005 Chrysler 300

      Definitely want to verify that the radiator fan is working. If it is not, it could be a temp sensor or bad fan. Do you have heat? Just asking to try to verify circulation through the coolant system.

    if you don't run the heat while filling the coolant would enough air be caught in the system to cause it to bubble in the reservoir once heated up? I've just replaced radiator and fans and filled coolant but didn't turn on heat. the car drove for a couple miles and then the reservoir started bubbling then spitting coolant. the thermostat seems to working fine I dropped it in a pot of boiling water. Do you have any advice? I'm unsure if its head gasket or something as simple as not bleeding the system properly.

      I would try bleeding again with heat on. I found this article that may be helpful. www.felpro.com/gaskets-101/signs-of-a-blown-head-gasket.html

    Can i change coolant in my chrysler 300 myself . I use water every day to refill it. It is draining from the bottom underneath the engine.

      You can change it yourself but you need to take care of that leak first.

    My coolant reservoir has coolant in the whole reservoir not just left side it’s pushing out coolant should I change it

    • @DCAutoEnhancement
      @DCAutoEnhancement  4 місяці тому

      If it's pushing coolant out you may have a bigger problem such as a blown head gasket or something as small as being over filled. Do you have anything else going on?

    My engine burns oil like crazy and knocks, does yours do the same and do you know a way to fix it?

    • @DCAutoEnhancement
      @DCAutoEnhancement  Рік тому +1

      Mine ticks but it doesn't burn oil. The ticking on mine is due to the poor design of the rocker arm assembly.
