Glad you are getting better! Hope you continue to feel better and best of luck when you do return to work!
Thank you doctor for your advice
My pleasure!
Thanks!!! Working on getting strong in this rt knee in PT. This month, August, I'm going back to my rec center so I can start back in Chair Aerobics for Seniors.
That sounds like a great plan! Best wishes to you and thanks for watching!
🙏 I have 14 weeks after my bilateral knee replacement. I can go up and down stairs very slowly with the support of railings. Without the support of railings it is very difficult to do stairs. What are the excercises to get more strength to do this ? How long time will take to do this easily for a person after tkr surgery? Give your suggestions.
Stairs are ugggg. Going down not to bad. Going up kinda iffy. I too use a handrail.
Here is a helpful exercise for improving your ability with stairs: studio.ua-cam.com/users/videoE0A4xZ6GBX4/edit
In terms of when it becomes easier to do stairs, it really varies, but can take a couple a months or more to really feel comfortable and able to tolerate stairs with relative ease.
Thank u very much🙏
Be determined. Don’t give up!
If you are wise…. you should do these exercises for the rest of your life (with your TKR knee).
Absolutely agree!
