I have a group chat with just my mom, dad and sister. We are very open with each other, so we keep it at just us four. I like to keep my family updated on my son’s adventures, and my sister keeps us updated on her furry daughter’s adventures. We see each other every week, but the stuff that happens in between are important to share in the moment. I love having it, my sister travels a lot, so it is the best way to all stay connected
Question. Maybe upcoming Q&A....how do you two balance being present in the moment/simply enjoying one another and vlogging? Have you ever felt like documenting a moment has distracted you from being fully present?
We're a military family so YES we frequently chat in group texts and I video chat with my mom daily. It's so hard living far away from family. I love that y'all live so close to grandparents and cousins. Family is so precious! 😍

My dad has an hour long commute everyday both directions, he’s a firefighter and he works in Vancouver Beautiful British Columbia. He’s considered moving location but he loves it so much and considering he’ll become a full time lutenent next month makes him pretty happy

Back in college I commuted from Bountiful to Logan every other day for a research internship at USU! I loved the drive because the mountains were gorgeous!
For the last two weeks I've been commuting an hour to go to school. My job offered me a scholarship to go through specialized training, so that is what I have been doing. Tomorrow I'll be done until Aug. 21 when I'll go back. I won't finish until June of 2019.
GIRL! Tommy is such an amazing baby. I can totally relate with you on having a difficult baby/sleeper. I’m so blown away that Tommy fell asleep during TUMMY TIME! What?! I can only pray my next baby will be as easy going as him. 😍😍

I commuted for about one year and nearly had a nervous breakdown on the stormy days... that was all I could handle!!! However my mother commuted for over 40 years of her life. Don't know how she did it; not to mention she was a single parent of 5 children all 1 years apart... Some people have nerves of steel I guess!
One word: ebook! My kids get children's books on their kid version kindles. May not work for everyone, but could be great for international buyers. When I lived in Mexico, I ordered kindle books all the time.

When I lived in Orlando, I worked at Disney, but lived closer to UCF and had to commute anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half and it was really tiring! Love your videos! Your family is the cutest! 💕

Oh my, I totally flinched when Calvin jumped on top of Jackson; I was like oh no! Lol should have known they'd be fine. My son is also quite obsessed with cities and where he is on the road. My mom gave me the nickname birdie mouth when I was a baby - just like Tommy, my mouth was always open lol
I still think eventually you guys need to put your podcast on youtube that is a way i would listen... i love you guys i just have a Samsung phone so i don't use itunes;( either way congrats on the podcast that's an awesome accomplishment!!!
My whole family is on Marco Polo! My family is all over the country and so we love to Marco Polo so we get to see each other on the daily and it's been the best thing ever!!!!

My mom passed away 5 years ago and things haven’t been the same, my in laws have passed in the past 3 years and that too has changed. Nice that you all still have one another! We have a family What's App & sometimes it goes so crazy I have to switch my phone to do-not-disturb & when I go back to it, there's like 30 messages all sent within about 20 minutes! It's pretty much for us to fuss over my nieces & nephew. They're just sooo adorable!

My mom, daughter and I used Marco Polo a lot when I lived in MN and they were here in NV. Now we are together so it is not used often but we love the app when so far away.
We have a new saying, Houston is about an hour away from Houston. It takes us 20 min. just to get out of our community to the freeway. Due to traffic lights and traffic. On a positive note I can get to Bush Intercontinental Airport in about 30 minutes. To get to the Medical Center it's a 29 mile drive that takes a minimum of 45 minutes and up to 2 hours depending on traffic. Most of the time we can make it in an hour. I wish I lived in a 1 light town sometimes.
My nephew will be born in october and I would loooove to read him from the Penny book! So I can’t wait for the update on international shipping, because I live in The Netherlands.
I drive about an hour to work every day and drive through the horrible Orlando traffic and construction lol but the drive home I like because that's my time to decompress and then be all ready to come home and cook and get my daughter ready for bed!!

I'm a pharma rep and I'm on the road in north Jersey 5 days a week all day long. I visit 10 or more obgyns every day. I love being on the road but It does ware me out. It's a long day especially going home to 3 kids. Honestly, being home with the kids is more exhausting lol. And yes Road Rage does definitely happen especially in Jersey. Anyway, that's my rant for the day. I don't miss any of your vlogs, they make my day. Toodles😊
I’m curious, when I first started watching (basically the beginning) you worked for A cell phone place and Ellie was a hair stylist! You lived in a small place and was pretty “normal” so, what happened? How did you become sooo successful so fast!? Is UA-cam the reason you don’t have to “work” a regular job and still live a lavish lifestyle???

I’m a teacher and I commute 30 minutes each way. My kids go to school where I teach, so we have the best conversations to and from school each day!
