The car is fantastic and still looks great almost 20 years later. It is a very solid car too and fun to drive. What I never understood though is how those journalists were claiming companies were after "young people'" taste when 9 out of 10 buyers of new cars are above the age of 40. LOL!
It's got great handling. I drove a 1.6 16v and it's fast around a corner you can really push this car i was surprised, i thought it was going to be shit, but i underestamated it. It's like it almost can't understeer even though it's a FWD.

it does have good speed through the corners
got mine this week had ABS sensor problems and need whole new brake pipes (copper) for MOT.. Still like it and its nippy.
