Cold showers are hard to start, but hard to stop once you get used to them, the benefits are so great, I started with 30 seconds and now I can cold shower for 10 mins, normally I do 5 mins but the colder the better, grow some balls and get cold showering ;)
#6 whenever I get out of a cold shower I have the biggest grin on my face. I don't know the reason but that rush as you stand there radiating body heat after the cold shower is tremendous
I've been doing cold showers for a couple of years now. I usually start off barely warm to cooler to cold. I stay under for 2 to 5 minutes once it's cold, depending on how much time I have. When I cut the water off, I feel a surge of warmth that comes over me. Amazing! You'll feel great, refreshed, and my hair has a great shine as well. Love it with all the healthy benefits. Tim Lauri
Was inspired to take cold showers for 90 days and now it's become a lifestyle. 3 main benefits i've learned: 1. I get an instant energy boost and feel great throughout the morning. my body regulates to the temperature of the room and I feel more relaxed. 2. I expand my comfort zone making obstacles throughout the day easier to overcome. This is essential to self actualizing and fulfilling your potential in life. 3. I now have a new "friendly" relationship with the cold.. cold outdoor temperatures that used to bother me is now comfortable for me. I see it as a way to continue growing and expanding my comfort zone. .. there are way more benefits I've heard of such as fat loss, reduced inflammation, more testosterone for men but I haven't done too much research into those. just these 3 benefits alone are enough reason for me to make this a lifestyle. ... I'll prob take Wim Hof's course in the near future. Would love to see feedback if you've gone through it.
Is it a mith as I heard taking cold showers after weight training u will not gain muscle I love cold showers but got a message bk tonight saying don't only on my days off of training. Is this true or not
Love your vids Daniel, yep I can do keto and I can even do intermittent fasting but this one I think I may well struggle with! I will give it a go and let you know.
Hi Mel, the net carbs is the figure to keep in mind. Fibrous carbs go straight through your digestive system so effectively are calorie free. Because you don’t absorb or use those calories. Hope that helps!
tis- Have you started yet? I studied it for a year or more, before starting. If you want to lose weight, sticking with actual carbs works best. In 2016, at age 66, I lost 42 pounds in 8 weeks with very clean whole foods and under 20 actual carbs. Eggs, meat, avocados, veggies and salads, and IM. Since then, I usually eat OMAD. It’s pretty easy, once you have the mind-set. Good luck.😊

3 minutes in the cold seems to be a popular answer from most who do! Myself I do 5-10 minutes!

I am 48 and I take cold showers since I was 17. However, in the last 3 years I can't because I live in Yuma, AZ. The water is warm all year. It sucks.

i am going to start the keto diet soon, do you count the net carbs of the actual amount of carbs

Don't cold showers affect muscle growth?
Yes, but how cold?
As cold as your cold tap will go 😉
I would take them but i'm always rushing to get to work...... oh wait
No excuses now! 😉
Yes but how cold
He said as cold as your tap can go
A cold shower🥶 is harder to do than a hot shower🥵
But cold showers release lactic acid from muscle they help muscles recovery that means they stop muscle growth.
Kind of want to give this a go, but at the same time not 🤣🥶
Give it a go! Let us know how it goes!
