Olga Maersk outbound at Port Phillip Heads

The Olga Maersk has departed Melbourne and has travelled down Port Phillip with a sea pilot aboard. The pilot takes the ship outside into Bass Strait and can then board the pilot launch and return to land.

That is a beautiful video of a departing ship dropping the pilot. It was a sunny, clear day, the sea wasn't bad, and the ship was relatively light. It made for an interesting slow motion of the vessel. Kind of like a seesaw. A great video.
