We shouldn't really worry about the glue resilience. A saw a thoroughly made research by an experienced woodworker on YT, demonstrating that - provided the glue is correctly applied - the wood will always be weaker than the glue. BTW, he also demonstrated that glueing "veneer-against-veneer" (even "head to head") will not weaken the glueing, contrary to popular belief.

Something that could help a lot in the garden as well is a cart with wheels! It can have storage in the lower part and the upper part can work as a workbench. 😉

Nice little project. Thanks for sharing. Without the lid, it can also be a planter box. You have a nice laser engraver now. I followed some links but I couldn't find back the laser engraver with specifications and price.🙃
