Rocky clearly was using the girls as well as the other chefs and he IS lazy,(he obviously doesn't care about his job) Gordon is awesome for making her realize that and helping her stand up to him and let him go. You have to get rid of the people who drag you down in life, or you'll end up with nothing.

This was one of my favorite episodes.
Right now, at this moment, in the video, these people really don't know nothing. Rocky needs help. And yet they all seem like nice people with guidance. They'll make it without a doubt in my mind so far.

ever since i started working in restaurants as a runner and as a barman etc. I found out it's more, much more reasonable than people realise to split the tips between everyone, which means the chefs also get tips and they also deserve them for the work they put in the food. Apart from that. This owner is oblivious and gordon ramsay is THE chef, but for one thing if rocky says he doesnt get payed enough to keep performing for her and keep being responsible for a menu that isnt even his... Well all i can tell is that it's a fact that nobody uses nobody, but it was frames as if Rocky uses her for her good side but from this episode thats not true. She is just limiting him in his ability and that's why he is slowely giving up. This is one of the very rare moments in kitchen nightmares where i disagree with the proces of blaming the chef and gordon agreeing with it...
Mm I might typically agree but I feel like she was giving him free reign and he was blowing smoke up her ass to be able to continue doing whatever. When stuff came back he didn't take the criticism, he just said it was fine. I really think it was her ignorance and his laziness. A bad combo.
Frankly, if seasoned properly, salmon doesn't really need salt. Perhaps a dash. Obviously, a lot was wrong with that dish - and certainly none of the other things Ramsey tested were remotely good.
