    The reason we need UGC is lag. Lots of unseen vertices that still render and exist result in framerate issues. If its was one giant mesh, it'd be cheaper.

    Its kind of upsetting they cut the map with the fairy tale castle which was present in the alpha. That map was pretty cool to look at.

      CptPipebeard I'm sure you can find similar maps on workshop

    In my opinion, there were three main problems with the career mode:
    1) A park that makes profit once easily starts making exponentially more profit because you can add more and more rides. This makes it too easy to keep expanding your park once you have a few rides (also in challenge mode). In Shops 'n Drops, I had over 50.000$ of cash and was making profit despite spending 10.000%/month on marketing before I got the 3rd star.
    2) Some of the goals didn't really feel like they had to do with park *management*. This is mainly aimed at all the scenarios with "achieve a scenery setting of xxx". Even when I immediately built scenery around the queue to get 100% rating whenever I placed a ride, I still ended up having to place 100-200 street lamps (or similar items) at the end of the scenario because I had fulfilled all management goals but not the scenery rating goals. This was a bit annoying to me. It also took me quite a while to finish Shops 'n Drops, but I felt that there, I actually had to *manage* all my shops to get a monthly profit of >6000$, adjusting prices, training vendors and getting rid of shops that made no profit.
    3) There are simply too little scenarios. Most of them can be finished in

      Oh, and another thing: I'm actually very glad VIPs are not in the game. To me, they were one of the most annoying challenges in RCT3 and I'd be happy to not see them implemented into the game.

    I completely agree with you, I have the exact same thoughts about this game.

    As someone who has kinda hit the point of "This game is really awesome but it's not that challenging anymore" I think the biggest thing they could add would be a proper scenario editor where people can make maps, with objectives and upload them to the steam workshop. This would mean that people who wanted more of a challenge with structured objectives in career mode could get that by looking online. Aside from that, making blueprints a bit easier to work with would be much nicer! :)

    Do you still like RCTW better than Planet Coaster? I'm interested in which ever game is more fun to build rides with little care to building scenery. Can either Planet Coaster or RCTW build a park multiplayer yet or we're still waiting for an amusement park game with that feature?

    They just added some scenarios i think. Haven't looked at them though.

    This game rules it is the best Theme Park Simulation Game ever made, it is hands down one of the best games of this year. It's levels of creativity are unrivaled. It has utterly destroyed all other competition. No offense to Parkitect for isometric nostagic park simulation fans. #COLAPES #EXPOSED

    agreed...great game. best in class. only thing I was disappointed in was the amount of rides...it needs more.

    after the negatives you mentioned I thought you were going to burn this game. Glad you didn't. I agree with just about everything you said, but the building tools and terraforming tools just make up for everything else.

      No minimum of 10 if you want it to run smoothly.

  • @Potholet

    it's too easy because when you start making money there's no stopping. there should be events happening to cause drops of money such as trying to build up a park during a money crisis, peeps should also get bored of not having new rides for a while etc

      That's the same issue you have in EVERY game of this genre man... When I was six I could sit back in Evergreen Gardens on RCT1 and extort cash from guests for days man, these games are never hard if you know what you're doing.

    Well, how does it run? I've been hearing word on /vg/ from people with great rigs having FPS issues.
    It can be the best game ever, but if it doesn't run on my potato, then it's literally worthless.

    • @Twisted_Thrill
      @Twisted_Thrill 7 років тому

      aMondayMorning If you go to the steam page there is a list of requirements for the game. I have most of them and my game works fine on my computer

    • @fronkh
      @fronkh 7 років тому +1

      Well it's a game where you can pretty much place infinite objects. The more objects you have the worse the game will run.

    so, in other words, it lacks some polish, and an expert difficulty level, otherwise perfect?

  • @VNReader
    @VNReader 7 років тому +5

    Why didn't you talk about the challenge mode? Honestly it's the only way I play the game since it's fun to play a sandbox with limited money.

    • @Sirnekk
      @Sirnekk  7 років тому +1

      VN Reader What's there really yo talk about though. Isn't it just sandbox with money?

    • @VNReader
      @VNReader 7 років тому +4

      Sir Nekk It's where the management side of things really matters which is still an aspect of the game. The lack of difficulty really shows there.
      I still love the game but there's a lot to talk about in regards to the management in a park you entirely build yourself.

    • @Sirnekk
      @Sirnekk  7 років тому +1

      VN Reader ah, I see what you are saying.

    • @fronkh
      @fronkh 7 років тому

      I can vouch for this. Especially in hard mode this is actually HARD. You are required to make your queues and the rest of the park look good to attract more guests to make more money. You are really on a tight budget. Guests are more easily unhappy and rides break down more easily too.
      I can say though it's one of the most fun gamemodes.

      I play challenge mode as well. in fact it's almost as if they got the names challenge and career mixed up.

    I don't wish to be rude, but this video is hardly a review; it's rather a blatant celebration. You've barely scratced the surface of everything that should be addressed, which also applies to the review of its competitor, for that matter. If you want a better, more honest and full review, then take a look at the review from Master Hellish (second version, not the first) and read my comment below the video from Master Hellish afterwards. That's what a full and (more importantly) honest review looks like. You're welcome.

    • @Sirnekk
      @Sirnekk  7 років тому +2

      HonestPCGameReviews Yes a blatant celebration in which for almost half the video I talk about how half of the games scenarios are lazy and rushed garbage. My god, do you even watch my videos before you come here to advertise another guy?
