- What a difference in handling the new Ikeya Formula front upper control arms make on my Nissan Skyline GTR. I ordered these from RHDjapan.com and they are well worth the money. Ikeya Formula meets all Japanese road standards and can pass vehicle inspection for registration. These Ikeya Formula front control arms fit the R32 Nissan Skyline and Z32 Nissan Fairlady or 300zx chassis. These have a OEM design but are 5mm shorter to keep the suspension geometry correct for slightly lowered vehicles. Pretty easy to install. My AMS Motorsports control arms had to much movement and play in them no matter how much they were tightened. This make my steering feel unpredictable at times. I will show you how to install front control arms in this video. What a world of difference the Ikea Formula control arms make. Ikeya Formula feels solid and keeps the car planted on the road. The bushings are thick and soak up road noise and vibration. Car has faster turn in, handling is more precise and predictable. To put the AMS control arms in the proper spot "the garbage can" Hope you guys enjoy the front control arm replacement video. Not much on UA-cam about Ikeya Formula suspension arms. I think I am the first from what I can tell! 2k subs now, thank you everyone!

It looks so good. I was actually thinking about getting your previous adjustable control arms but now, no way. Seeing how stiff these new guys are...probably going with the Ikeya when it's time. Also hope you're feeling better!!!
Thanks, I am feeling so much better this morning. I think I am just about over this crap!
They look very nice and way stronger then the other ones
Thanks, yes most definitely stronger. I can feel a night and day difference!
Do you have the link to the service manual? 800 pages...Gonna need a lot of paper dude...great vid, hope you are feeling better.
Sorry forgot to add the link it is in the description now. Family is doing good. I worked a little to much out in the garage yesterday. Feeling warn down myself today. Just resting and watch movies. Here is the link for you! BNR32 factory service manual link below

Most Nissans love tons of negative camber, so I think you made the right choice. Also those ikea arms have roller bearings and lip seals, right?
Thanks man. I am not sure about them having roller bearings. I cant find any literature on the Ikeya Formula website stating that. I believe them to just be plain stiffened pressed in bushings.
@@JDMRightHandDrive Right on, it's still the best arm for a street car for sure (no clunky spherical bearings). Is there still a way to adjust camber for fine tuning?
@@aaronmatuszny8856 The only adjustments I will have is the tie rod ends and tension rods.
I’ll be curious where that puts your camber at, and as long as your running zero toe in the front, you won’t get any crazy wear. I run 3 degrees on mine for the track with zero toe and don’t have much wear issues
One I get the alignment redone I will share the suspension geometry numbers with the channel!
JDM Right Hand Drive Did you get it aligned? Curious about how much negative camber it added
LONG-TERM, 2yrs later now.. how are these, how have they held up? any issues? was deciding between these and nismo camber arms.. help me out
My engine had suffered bearing failure due to front turbo failure a few months after I installed these. My RB28 is in the process of being rebuilt right now. The quality is as good as Nismo if not better in my opinion. Thanks for watching and have fun with your GTR.
AMS one's no good? I was just about to buy them.
I had the AMS ones for 3 years. Would not recommend them. UP Garage did not like them either.
