Learn how to solve a system of simultaneous equations by the method of addition (also called elimination).
We multiply and add one equation to the other one in order to eliminate a variable, thereby finding the answer to the other variable in the set.

can you choose which ever method of solving systems you want ? or would different equations need to be solved differently ?

on tests they will specifically ask you to use a certain method for the question to show that you know both

@@dwydeshruyde1409 Yup, I had to use this trick ( ua-cam.com/video/Ks-wwYpS20Y/v-deo.html ) and then reverse engineer it to fit the certain method they were asking for. But that was before I found this channel Math and Science.

Remember adding a negative u get a bigger negative -2 adding -42 gives u a bigger negative that's were he got negative -44
